Need a copywriter who understands B2B products? I'm your man. You might be planning an email campaign targeted at an engineering manager who gets hundreds of emails and calls every day. I might be the only person on Upwork who can deliver. I might also be the only one with experience weighing pig intestines. My name is Martin Munkholt, and I specialize in turning complex B2B offers into fun, easy-to-read copy. That includes sales emails for process equipment, hardware and software solutions showcasing their true value to customers. I also write quality white papers, checklists, and other lead magnets aimed at blue collars turned white. Many copywriters say they understand B2B customers, but how can you do that if you've never had a real job? I earned my chops on the slaughterhouse floor. I honed my persuasion skills teaching boneheaded butchers about Lean, and now I've turned them to writing. I learned sales and negotiation from the other side of the table, running million-dollar technical projects. When you're writing for busy decision-makers in industry, only three things matter: Attention – you have one shot, and you can't be boring. Clarity — you need to be clear and concise. Relevance — you must show them value. Other copywriters don't seem to understand this. Being smart and creative is not enough. How many salesy emails have you received that made you yawn before hitting delete? You've probably seen others overuse jargon, write complicated sentences, make assumptions about the reader's knowledge about the company's products or fail to demonstrate their true value. When you work with me, I deep dive into your products and company and ensure I understand exactly what you offer and to whom. This allows me to turn features into benefits at a deep level. My Lean experience also gives me valuable insight into customer flows, as well as a full digital toolbox. But there is a catch. I genuinely don't work with anyone.
