Compelling writing gets results, whether buying your product, learning the lesson, or engaging in the narrative on your website. I am a content writer. I am a passionate writer, creative, and communicator with five years of writing experience. I am a content writer, producing 100 web pages weekly and writing sales and technical pieces. It includes conducting a lot of research and getting all the information out of a product that I can. In my free time, I love to practice creative writing and hone in on narrative and descriptive passages. As an undergrad, I acquired a good knowledge of marketing, advertising, public relations, and journalism through my curriculum. I was an Honor student for four years and developed a master's level thesis. That thesis was published and recently won the 2021 Top Paper Award from the Southwest Education Council for Journalism and Mass Communications. My research was on what advertising tactics worked best at gaining donations. Through conducting multiple studies, my research found a few significant findings. It concluded that visuals and anecdotal writing attracted fewer donors than logical and statistical facts. It also found that targeting niche groups is more effective than targeting large populations. These findings are helpful when working with small businesses, charities, and non-profit organizations. After graduation, I took on a role as a Digital Advertising Associate. I learned the back side of advertising through Google Analytics, Google Ads editor, call tracking, Simplifi, Salesforce, and many other programs. I left that job to pursue a more creative position aligned with my career goals.
