CONSULTATION - A first consultation marks a pivotal starting point in our collaboration. It will assist us in determining if we are mutually compatible for our future partnership. THIS INTRODUCTORY DISCUSSION WILL AID IN HARMONIZING MY DESIGN APPROACH WITH YOUR BRAND'S AESTHETIC AND OVERALL VISION. Additionally, it will provide insights into your key priorities before commencing designing your collection. 2. TREND RESEARCH - Conducting trend and market research is a pivotal step in the development of a collection or design. It entails delving into both present and future trends that will hold significance for your collection. RESEARCHING AND ANALYZING TRENDS WILL HELP US FIND A CONCEPT AND THEME FOR YOUR COLLECTION. Once the trend research has been done, I will create a moodboard accompanied by a color palette to kickstart the design process. 3. FASHION DESIGN & COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT - This is where the sketching process begins and where I’ll start bringing your ideas to live. I will start sketching the number of designs we have agreed on for your collection. Rough sketches will be then drawn digitally for the best quality possible. Each design will be drawn front and back so you can get a better idea of ​​the garment from all angles. 4. TECH PACK - Once all designs are made, it is essential to transform them into technical drawings. A “Technical Drawing” or a “Flat” is a detailed representation of a garment. It must be accurate, proportional, show all construction details, and illustrate all parts of the garment. The Tech Pack will be included which will communicate construction details. It is crucial that the tech packs and flat drawings be as detailed as possible so that the pattern maker or seamstress understands exactly what you want in your design. 5. FINALIZATION & PRODUCTION - Once the designs, technical drawings, and tech packs have been finalized, you are ready to send all of these materials to your chosen dressmaker or clothing manufacturer. Even though I am unable to produce physical samples, I can provide you my expertise in sourcing clothing manufacturers & suppliers both domestically & internationally. I am also more than willing to maintain communication with you throughout the production phase to ensure its smooth progress and address any inquiries the dressmaker or manufacturer may have regarding the designs Let's talk about your vision!
