My name is Tony Cat Anh Hung Nguyen. My friends and colleagues often refer to me as "Tony" or "Cat." It's nice to meet you!
I am an enthusiast and a life-long learner when it comes to data analytics. I have worked with multiple not-for-profit and for-profit organizations and companies to provide efficient solutions based on current available in-house resources to help them gain more profits, reduce unnecessary expenses, improve their customer's experience, and this is still an ongoing list (perhaps the outcome of my work with you is the next thing on this list!)
About my services:
✅ Data Extraction. I have experience extracting data from multiple sources, including online websites, PDF files, and Word files. Maintaining the accuracy of the data is highly important to me. After working on many academic and corporate research projects, I understand that a tiny mistake while handling data (especially with unsystematic mistakes) can skew the results unexpectedly. Also, it can be time-consuming to fix the mistake. And, of course, with my experience, I understand how to manage and mitigate those mistakes.
You give me a challenge, and I will work through it to guarantee your satisfaction.
✅ Data Analysis. I can provide insights from the data and put them into a formal written report for you. Or, if you prefer a visual report, I can generate a dashboard for you.
✅ Data Scraping. Suppose you are thinking about launching a new product or looking for improvements to your current products, don't just adjust your products because your competitors' products have features that yours don't. Instead, look at your customers' reviews, process the reviews to understand your customers' needs, and adjust your products accordingly. By doing this, you can reinforce your customers' loyalty (because you show that you listen to them) and even acquire more new customers through the power of word of mouth 😉.
There's one quote, that I came across a while ago, which has become my favorite one "It is the customer who determines what a business is, what it produces, and whether it will prosper."
About my highlighted software skills:
🖥 MS Excel/ Google Sheet. I frequently use the tools to manage data and pivot tables to explore, summarize, and highlight data trend(s). For MS Excel, depending on the number of data sources and the required updating frequency, I also use Power Query as a component to automate dashboards in my previous projects.
🖥 SPSS/ Jamovi. Depending on the project managers' needs, I also adopted these advanced quantitative analysis software in my previous projects to analyze and predict the data trend based on current data. I'm familiar with ANOVA and regression analysis using these tools.
🖥 Google Data Studio. I mainly used Excel to create visualization due to the stakeholders' preferences in my previous projects. However, I'm also competent in generating reports using Google Data Studio.
🖥 Atlast.ti. I have used Atlas.ti for projects requiring qualitative analysis to generate insights and reports.
