I am computer literate and proficient in the use of many office based applications, including MS Excel and its data model features, Power BI + DAX and RStudio, having the confidence and precision to use these tools to meet a clients expectations. I am familiar with and know how to use an ETL process to improve a models performance, a task that involves sifting through a dataset to normalise and promote consistent information to help produce meaningful analysis. I can design and generate reports that are dynamic, by adding slicers or employ power pivot features making a report interactive or keep it straightforward with a dashboard. And in the case of Power BI, tailor the output based on a user requirement using row level security, therefore limiting what a person will see. I am also familiar with Power Query, both in Excel and Power BI, to help with the nominalisation step and to add customization to a report. And I can use RStudio to produce markdown reports, either in pdf, Word, or HTML format. I like working with data, and if I am not familiar with a set task I will research a solution. For example when I needed to automate emails, I used Power Automate to schedule regular emails using a list stored in SharePoint, or when had to customise the output from an SQL View, I adjusted the SQL statement from within Excel's data model to customise the output for my report. I have the eagerness to work, the passion and enthusiasm to learn, and I am always ready for a challenge.
