I'm guessing you're here because you want something amazing built, but you're either stuck or you aren't sure where to go next. Perhaps you have customers relying on you or you have the latest cool idea. Whatever it is, I'm here to help. PASSIONATE | DEPENDABLE | HONEST I prefer working with folks on long-term engagements, though I'm always willing to help out on one-off projects. Skill set: Full stack web, automation, testing, Python, Node.js, Mongo, Falsk, REST, and many more... Work history: over a decade of tech experience; over 7 of full stack; 4-5 years as a freelancer. What to expect if you work with me: 1. Initial call. I'll ask plenty of questions, listen for what you're looking for, offer guidance and suggestions for anything I think won't work. I'll estimate how long the project will take and bring up any potential roadblocks i see. 2. Development. I'll work on the project, communicating throughout the project. If anything comes up unexpectedly I'll tell you about it. 3. Delivery. This is where I will provide the final project to you for approval. I'm open to modifying anything within the scope of the work if it doesn't match up with expectations. I'm very relational when I work with folks. Everyone is unique and I don't expect each client to get a one-size-fits all. --- A note on the recent 1-star review: I always aim for excellence. With the client it was a fairly simple job that I was more than capable of handling. The job was to fix something on a server. I'm very careful about working something if there's the potential for catastrophe, and checked with everyone to ensure if I worked on this part of the server it wouldn't affect production. However, it was not the case, and production was affected (essentially the IDE I opened it in "updated" some of the settings, breaking a lot of things). I owned my mistake and offered to work with the team to get production back online, but they weren't interested. My mistake was working on their server; instead, I should have set up my own development environment to troubleshoot the issue.Database ProgrammingDatabase ArchitectureScriptingSQLRESTful APIDatabase DesignNode.jsAutomationMongoDBMySQLSoftware DevelopmentAPIPythonJavaScript - $75 hourly

I am a seasoned Postgres database architect specializing in architecture for data-driven processes such as ERP's, CRM's, Fintech, etc. Chances are you are not using your database nearly to the capacity it can serve you and I can fix that. I am a systems design engineer first and foremost. Writing queries (with supreme excellence) is an art form, but still only secondary to the most important element: architecture which is where I excel the most. Beyond that, I'd say my "traditional" Postgres skills (listed below) are above average as well. Fair warning: I consider databases to be first-class citizens. I have developed a very successful workflow for producing good results. It begins with patiently asking questions to understand all of the contextual needs and then going about solving them in an iterative process with lots of two-way communication along the way. I utilize a loose framework and building workflow that makes it inherently easy to change and adapt as needed. This is important because good design is never achieved in the first iteration, so making architecture amenable means it can always get better. While I can obviously help with smaller projects, its the bigger challenges such as overhauls and ground-up projects that suit me best. I excel in complex cases and situations involving higher maths, algorithms and fuzzy logic. Traditional Skills: - ETL, Migrations, Imports - Advanced Functions/Procedures - Advanced/Complicated Query writing and optimization - Custom triggers, aggregates, types, etc. - User/role/security management - Indexing - Config tuningDatabase ProgrammingPostgreSQL ProgrammingDatabase ArchitectureBash ProgrammingPythonRelational DatabaseDatabase DesignETLPostgreSQL - $95 hourly

Good morning, my name is Cameron Hattendorf. I am a design engineer with a passion for 3D design, manufacturing, prototyping, and control systems design. Throughout my career, I've focused on delivering high-quality results and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards by implementing quality control processes. In my current role as a design engineer, I use SolidWorks to design and create prototypes, patterns and permanent molds for various manufacturing methods, implement quality control processes, and design control systems for industrial machinery using PLCs and HMIs. I also develop processes to better collaborate across multiple teams. What sets me apart is my extensive background in working with microcontrollers such as Arduino and ESP, single-board computers like Raspberry Pi, and full-stack development with an emphasis on machine and deep learning. Additionally, I'm pursuing a degree in Mechatronics, focusing on robotics and automation. I am also skilled in 3D printing, which has allowed me to experiment with new designs and quickly produce prototypes for testing. Some notable projects include designing control systems for industrial equipment and working on TangLED Lanterns, a personal project that showcases my skills in firmware and desktop software development. TangLED Lanterns is a project where I designed and constructed large wooden lanterns featuring LED bulbs interconnected through a wireless mesh network, requiring skills in 3D modeling, firmware development, software programming, and electronic circuit design. If you're looking for a versatile design engineer to bring your ideas to life and solve complex engineering challenges, I'm the person for the job. Reach out to me for all your design engineering needs, and let's work together to make your vision a reality!Database ProgrammingJavaScriptReactNode.jsTypeScriptDockerHTMLC#JavaC++VideographyWeb AnalyticsPhotography Want to browse more freelancers?
