Specialties: Reflowable ebook design for ePub and mobi (Kindle) Proofreading I produce ebook code by hand, rather than using a conversion software. This ensures cross-platform compatibility, accurate links, reflowable text, aesthetic design, and overall excellent UX while maintaining clean, readable, minimalist code. I provide an ePub that will fully validate for Kindle, iTunes, Nook, or any other distributor. I can also troubleshoot ebooks that have already been created using a conversion software, if that's what you need. I have experience creating ebooks of all levels of complexity, including novels, reference books with hundreds of footnotes, cookbooks, some picture books, etc. If a print design has been created already, I can match the look and feel of it skillfully in ebook form. I am able to craft basic designs "from scratch," as well, but graphic design itself is not my specialty, so for more in-depth graphic layouts I would defer to someone else for the initial design. I am also an editor with an eye for detail, which gives you the added benefit of an extra eye skimming over your content. While I don't spend extra time proofreading unless it's agreed upon as part of the contract, I do make a habit of noting any typos or inconsistencies I may encounter along the way and passing them along to you, the client. I can also do some formatting for print, as needed, using InDesign software. Note: Not interested in content creation or ghostwriting.eBooksKindle Direct PublishingPage Layout DesignCopy EditingPDF ConversionProofreadingEbook DesignEPUBFormattingMOBITypesettingBookEbookAdobe InDesign - $35 hourly

I treat every manuscript that comes my way with the respect, dedication, and sensitivity that I want from those reading my work. My goal is to help make stories their strongest selves while keeping the author’s voice and vision at the forefront. My clients are entrusting me with a piece of themselves, and honoring their authenticity is of the utmost importance. As a writer myself under my pen name I understand the vulnerability involved in sharing your work. Working with a ghostwriter should be a personal experience. I will treat your books with the same respect and care that I would treat my own. My true purpose as a ghostwriter is not just to help you create a polished manuscript, but to enhance your creativity. When we reach the finish line, I aim for not only a stronger book but also for you to feel your story has been authentically told. I specialize in Romance and Cozy Mysteries along with their subgenres. Whether you are a new author or a seasoned veteran, my passion lies in helping you make your book as strong as possible. My portfolio includes works from self-published and traditionally published authors alike. I have ghostwritten multiple titles across various genres, ensuring each story is engaging, unique, and true to the author's vision. Testimonials from past clients: Jacqueline has a fantastic attitude. She’s willing to jump in and help wherever needed, and she was always willing to go the extra mile to complete projects. She has been incredibly helpful in many different areas—social media, proofreading/editing, data tracking, and countless other day-to-day tasks. She is a fast learner and a great team player. We even asked her to step outside her usual duties to complete a large-scale content edit on a novel, and she expertly handled the additional responsibilities. -Emma Nelson, Executive Editor at Owl Hollow Press Jacque Reineri/Claerie Kavanaugh has been a valuable beta reader for my Haunting Fairytales Series. Punctual with deadlines and insightful, she is a valuable person to have as part of my lead up to finishing my projects. Her comments and eye for detail have helped shaped my books into something I am proud of. ~ Bestselling and Award-winning author R. L. Weeks. I had the privilege of having Jacque beta read my novel, KEEPER. Not only was Claerie enthusiastic and genuine with her notes, but she was honest and straightforward—which is exactly what you want in a beta. Her constructive criticism really helped guide a lot of my revisions and I am really grateful for her meticulous eye. She was also, and continues to be, an excellent cheerleader for the project. She makes writers feel comfortable with the process and works hard to make sure she provides feedback the author can really use. She is a lovely person and one I would love to work with again! ~Kim Chance, author of Keeper Claerie is one of the only editors I've met who can truly appreciate the big picture of a rough draft. Working with her was a dream experience. She always puts her client first and is available at any time for you to ask questions or if you have concerns about your manuscript. She finished up my manuscript two weeks ahead of schedule, yet it oozed with months of work. With NaNo coming up again shortly, I'll definitely be contacting her again! ~ Nicohle Christopherson, author of Knight of Kuryle (Unpublished)eBooksWritingGhostwritingProofreadingFiction WritingShort StoryRomanceEbook WritingEnglishMysteryNovelShort Story WritingEbookDevelopmental EditingCreative Writing - $30 hourly

I am a storyteller. I am a writer. I learned to tell stories at my grandmother's knee and began writing as soon as I could print out sentences. My undergraduate college minor was English (as in literature and writing), and my undergraduate college major was theater arts/communication. I hold a master's degree in library and information science. My work experience (I am technically retired) has included waiting tables, washing dishes, carpenter's assistant, janitorial, library shelver, library children's associate, elementary school librarian, and am currently the librarian for a small, private college. I am a gardening and sustainable living enthusiast. I can sew well enough to make basic clothing and mend clothing. I knit, crochet, and am learning to tat. My primary language is English -- Midwestern USA flavor. I have been writing online since 2008 and have lately been doing a bit of editing.eBooksCharacter DesignBlog WritingFiction WritingBook WritingArticle WritingProofreadingBlogContent EditingShort Story WritingEbook WritingEbook - $35 hourly

When was the last time you sat down to write your blog, newsletter, article and found yourself staring at a blank screen for quite a while? Was it last week, yesterday, an hour ago? How often have you tried to rework a phrase with no success? That is where I come in. I started writing poetry and short stories before I was a teenager and then spent high school and college working on my school newpapers. I've done freelance work, blog articles, written two books and I am currently working on another. I love the written word because there is such a beauty to the emotions that it can inspire. Whether you are trying to teach someone a new skill or tug at their heartstrings, both can be accomplished with the right turn of phrase. I not only believe in the power of content but after working in the journalism field I understand the importance of timeliness. I've worked under many deadlines and I know that sooner is always better than later. I look forward to transforming your content into a copy that can inspire whatever emotion you want to achieve.eBooksCopywritingMicrosoft WordBlog WritingGhostwritingFiction WritingEmail CopywritingProofreadingEnglishEbook - $20 hourly

I have extensive experience in multiple genres of fiction, but if I was honest, most of my experience is in paranormal romance. On a personal note, I do love to work in modern fantasy, it carries a large appeal to me, but I also enjoy to work in mystery, suspense and horror. I've been ghostwriting for years now, and it's my primary means of support, so I can definitely put full time hours into any project that I'm given and I'm always eager to discuss new projects. I also have a BA in Creative writing, so I've put the time in to actually study this. Just let me know what kind of things you're looking for and we can hammer out a price and timeframe depending on what else I have on my place. I'm always open to hearing about rush jobs, and while I can't guarantee that I'll take them, I'll be honest as to whether or not I can work it into my schedule or not. I also answer most messages within 24 hours, so don't be afraid to send me anything you think that I might be good at. Outlines I can usually get done fairly quickly and between working on other projects.eBooksNarrativeEbookThrillerCreative WritingFantasyFiction WritingRomanceFictionGhostwritingProofreadingShort Story WritingNovelUS English DialectWritingEnglish - $50 hourly
