For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about writing. It is a process that comes naturally to me, and is my favorite way of artistic expression. The paper is my canvas. The way an artist utilizes a blank canvas to express through pictures, I do the same with words. I am an attorney full-time and am thankful that I can write consistently as part of my professional life. I believe some of my best qualities get displayed through the writing process. I enjoy constructing words and ideas, always wanting to show my best to my prospective audience. If I have a point I want to make, I enjoy researching and articulating the facts that will back me up. I welcome debate in a respectful and civil way. There will never be a viewpoint in my writing that does not have the facts to back it up. I also happen to be a rabid sports fan. My father and I began bonding over sports since before I could talk and I have carried that passion through to adulthood. My opinions on sports are zealous and well thought out. I can express them verbally but believe that I can better support my point through writing. With all writing, and sports writing in particular, I feel I get in an almost trance-like state with all of my attention focused on the paper, my facts, research, and word construction. As stated, writing is such a natural expression for me. I have been lucky to have my writing talents viewed through various forms of media. I am currently a contributor to the sports media site, Fansided and have also had my work featured on SB Nation and various other independent sites. I have written articles on news, rumors and editorials. I am not afraid to support an unpopular viewpoint, but will never advance a position without having the data to back it up.
