I have been surrounded by creative individuals my whole life. Now at the ripe age of 49, I am using what I've learned from those mentors and many of my unique talents to reach a broader community. The focus of my work has always been to capture the moment in it's truest sense. My creative outlets are writing and performing music, singing, photography, videography, blogging, and reviewing products on social media platforms. I am also an observer of nature and enjoy sharing the natural world with other interested individuals using articles, blogs, photos, videos, and lectures. As a Technical Trainer for one of the largest mushroom companies in the United States, I developed powerful training tools for more than 800 employees. Projects included educating management on new software, G-Suite training for Google end-users, and set up and repair of basic office hardware. I absolutely love to teach and watch the awe of discovery in my student's eyes. I was instrumental in implementing wireless technologies to the mushroom harvesting supervisors. This significantly reduced the number of errors and time spent on entering this data into a production management program. It now is used daily to track mushroom production and harvesting data in Real Time. As a Musician, I have been personally in touch with both instrumental and vocal music for nearly 45 years. I have sung barbershop, pop, stage, Americana, and folk music genres throughout those years. A passion for accompaniment is expressed through my use of vocal harmonies and fingerstyle guitar melodies. For over 30 years I have been playing and crafting songs on the acoustic guitar. I have been a member of several bands, playing acoustic guitar, mandolin, congas, and bass. I truly enjoy the energy of performing live on stage and sharing music with the world. My experience in the studio is extensive and includes performance, production and engineering of 6 separate recording projects. As a Photographer/Videographer, I find myself drawn to those projects that engage the viewer. Wild mushroom forays in Telluride, Colorado to the cenotes of the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico have been captured and shared through my photos and videos. Much of this video footage was used by governmental agencies to educate local populations about proper sanitation practices in the jungles of Mexico. My photos have sold at auctions during many scientific based workshops and meetings. As a Product Reviewer and general Vlogger, I pride myself on providing the best, organic content possible. Most of my product reviews were shot at several locations, edited, produced, and then published on YouTube, Twitter, FaceBook, and Instagram. In under a year one of my YouTube channels had grown to nearly 900 subscribers. I am familiar with basic SEO concepts and practices within these social media platforms.
