    In a mixture of good fortune and thirst for knowledge, I have had the pleasure of dipping my toes into many different subjects that have always come back to writing in some way, shape, or form. This has allowed me to engage in multiple forms of writing with a multitude of tools to utilize. The bulk of my work history revolves around customer service, instruction/training, and professional writing. This has allowed me to work on framing, audience awareness, and creativity in nonfiction writing. The bulk of my academic history has revolved around creative nonfiction, fiction, proofreading, poetry, and research/academic writing. My experiences in schooling allowed me to learn from instructors from genres ranging from creative nonfiction to all kinds of fiction (contemporary, fantasy, young adult, and even including more niche genres such as military horror), and to write an array of works of different genres as well. I have been volunteering with English as a Second Language (ESL) students to proofread their papers with them as a tutoring method. These students learned Spanish as their first language, and there is minimal translation needed from time to time. I am well-rounded in my knowledge and abilities, detail-oriented, and have a genuine voice in writing. The topics I gravitate towards most involve or touch on Psychology, Mental Illness, Biology, Medical Topics, World Religions, and Spirituality. I, also, enjoy writing personally-based creative nonfiction, contemporary fiction, and young adult fiction. All aspects of the writing process bring me joy and feel natural to me. I graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a BA from the combined program of English and Creative Writing; however, I am a native to Southern Chicagoland, have lived in both Northwest & North Central Indiana, and currently reside in Colorado Springs, CO.
