I have experience using a wide range of data engineering and manipulation technologies including Pandas, Tidyverse, various flavors of SQL, PL/SQL, and Spark. I have worked with a wide range of network APIs, including binary APIs (Modbus). I am adept at web scraping, browser automation, and HTTP session control. I have experience handling PHI and other sensitive data in HIPAA and FERPA regulated environments. Cloud Engineering I have implemented and deployed complex full stack scalable containerized web applications (e.g., various JupyterHub deployments) using AWS ECS and Fargate. I have integrated HTTP APIs, Lambdas, and S3 buckets for receiving very large amounts of continuous telemetry data. I am experienced with cloud IAM. I also have experience writing infrastructure as code deployments (CloudFormation). Data Science I have implemented an end to end ML pipeline that carried large scale genomic and proteomic data in order to train and evaluate predictive models (scikit-learn, NLTK, SciPy, Numpy). I use dimensionality reduction, clustering, and other unsupervised learning techniques to transform and visualize high dimensional clinical data. My GIS work (ArcGIS Pro, Arcpy) has played an important role in our epidemiological research.
