PROJECT MANAGEMENT • Successfully won rebids since 2012 resulting in several strong relationships with the DOL totaling over $10M. • In Fiscal Years 2019 and 2020, awarded additional monies ($500K) under existing VOICE contracts. LEADERSHIP • Annually, developed a new team of 35+ subject matter experts for ODEP’s federal initiatives on Employment First, RICE, and VOICE. • Evaluated grantee performance for DOL’s ‘Add Us In’ initiative to improve employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Study determined the effectiveness and impact of the initiative by evaluating the outcomes of employers and participants with disabilities, conducting site visits and statistical analyses to relate outcomes differentials to service differentials to determine effective employment practices. Presented key findings at the 2013 American Evaluation Association Annual Meeting. • Co-authored report: Registered Apprenticeship Programs: Improving the Pipeline for People with Disabilities. Report recommendations were presented to DOL’s Office of the Apprenticeship and Advisory Committee on Apprenticeship. FUNDING • Wrote and was awarded $200,000 grant from the Illinois Department of Human Services Division of Developmental Disabilities to provide training and technical assistance, project evaluation, and resource development for the Employment First Balancing Incentive Program Project. Provided direction to 11 service providers and supervised six consultants to place individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities into individualized, competitive integrated employment. • Wrote and was awarded $480,000 federal contract for DOL to implement policy research and content management support to the Advisory Committee on Increasing Competitive Integrated Employment for Individuals with Disabilities (ACICIEID).
