From working in a high end bakery and running my own Pilates business, to simultaneously managing accounts payable and human resources for a fantastic commercial real estate and construction company, my career history has not been the most linear at the surface level. However, there is one incredibly strong through-thread that just won't quit - customer service is my core driver and work love language. Any opportunity to support others in ways that improve systems, make lives better, or help folks to connect is an opportunity that intrigues me. In the past 8 years, human resource-driven work has been my bread and butter and, most recently, I've fallen head-over-heels for the recruiting space. I think my passion for great recruiting comes from having been recruited extremely well, myself - by someone who was willing to go above and beyond to provide personal, white glove service, in order to deliver an excellent, highly retainable candidate to a great company. That being said, I am always excited to learn about new industries and technologies and am open to any opportunity that allows my customer service and writing skills to shine. I'm here for it!Event PlanningReverse RecruitingJob Search StrategyHuman ResourcesCanvaPhotographyHealth & WellnessArticle WritingNotionCustomer ServiceRecruitingHR & Business ServicesNewsletter WritingEmail CommunicationVirtual Assistance - $40 hourly

Hello, I wanted to send a brief letter to better relay my experience. For over the last 8 years, I have been the #1 contact for over 1000 entertainers across the USA. I have also been the #1 contact for private customers and businesses booking entertainment. My daily role consists of booking entertainment with the customer or business as to their specific needs and researching venues for exact locations for private functions and business events. I research availability and legal restrictions. From there I contact my entertainers from my very large database, and I confirm that both the customer’s needs and the entertainers are a match. I schedule flights, hotels, and transportation for specialty entertainers as well. I am very successful at what I do. I communicate with both the customer and the entertainers via chat, text, email, Zoom, Skype, and phone. I make sure every party booked is epic! I have booked events as small as 10 guests and as large as 1500. I subcontract technical workers, emcees, and any general help needed to make the event successful. For larger functions, I reach out to the venue itself for suggestions for security and photographers local to their area. I also cold call night clubs and performing arts centers and book a burlesque-style public show that consists of 5 female little people who travel the USA 12 days a month filling the largest of venues with their unique show. They travel with an emcee, helper, and photographer. I arrange all their flights, hotels, and ground transportation. The venues they perform at supply the security and DJ as well as ticket sales and food/drink sales. I charge a flat fee per entertainer and staff directly from the club. I have found that when the club knows what they have invested in they set higher profit goals and when we “pack the house” they book again. We supply them with both print and digital marketing materials, and we market their events on our social media as well. When I was hired back in April 2016 I had 1 little person, I now have a live show and a total of 8 females and 1 male little person entertainer all with their unique style. I have made my mark in the little-person entertainment industry. No other agency does what we do (we are too good at it). What started as a small dream with 1 girl has grown into a dynasty. I have been working from home in general for about 14 years. I have a wide variety of customer service and management experience. I have dispatched taxicabs, trucks, and pizzas. I have recruited both insurance agents and employees in the event marketing industry. I have scheduled service appointments for customers of new car dealerships across the USA and Canada. I got my feet wet in the remote work industry by taking seasonal calls for Meijer stores during the Christmas season. I got that job through the National Telecommuting Institute. They specialize in getting the disabled to work. I love to work, and it gives me purpose. I would love to get out more and land a job that involves travel. If you are wondering why I am seeking employment, I am going to train someone else to take over my current position and I am going to assume a more hands-off role. I will still be involved, but this has grown into a place where I could have another person handle all the private parties and events where the entertainers are local to the venue. I can then pursue my dream of being a full-time event coordinator while still working a few hours a week keeping all my traveling shows up and running. With my public speaking skills, I would do great at trade shows or business conferences. I am a true professional and can coordinate anything from start to finish. Most want a 4-year degree, which I do not have but I have 8 years of work experience directly in the field and I am a self-made expert! I am not a glass-half-full kind of person, I am a let’s get that glass full kind of girl.
