As a freelance software developer, I am a specialist in Microsoft Office applications with over 30 years of experience including macro coding with VBA (Visual Basic for Applications). The code reads XML output from an OCR process and uses extensive regular expression coding to locate information and format it for database storage. A project in my portfolio below includes automation with Excel of the regression testing for this application. I have developed WPF/XAML desktop applications with C# and with WinForms using VB. I also have developed web applications using JavaScript, AJAX, HTML and CSS with backend database access to SQL server coded using C#. I have also developed one application with React using an external API.
