Discipline, determination, and experience to do quality work, right the first time, and done on time. Learned that gathering requirements and understanding what the customer really wants is extremely important to develop software the customer actually enjoys using. Developed customized CRM Access database from data contained in Excel. Excel data was unmanageable and contained thousands of duplicate addresses. Developed relational database to maintain data integrity and eliminate duplicates. The main form contains address information at the top followed by a sub form of customers living at the address and an additional sub form of promotions sent to those customers. The database includes a powerful search functionality, easy and intuitive way to make edits, export to Excel, and import Excel data back into the database. Sales Dashboard Developed an Excel Dashboard for the owner of a sporting goods sales representative company. The dashboard breaks down the products sold (Columns) by the stores (rows). Data slicers for market, vendor, account, city provide in-sights into growing or declining markets, and year to year sales comparisons. VDOT Light Pole Database Developed an Access database for a lighting company that was replacing lights on sections of highways. The requirement was to make data entry as easy and quick as possible. Utilized drop-downs with easy to remember number codes to expedite data entry. Commission Mapping Form - Access database Replaced manual process of processing monthly commissions file. Developed a mapping screen that makes it easy to map account names in the commission file to an account in the database by selecting from a drop-down list. The mapping is retained in the database so the next time the commission file is loaded the mapping is done automatically. Long Term Assignments: Blanchard Consulting Group 4/2015 - 10/2018 Provided support, maintenance programming, Access Database new development and Excel Macros Completely re-wrote their Survey tracking Access database. The previous database was limited in the number of surveys line items that could be added to the sub forms. Everything was hard codes. Updated the table structures so that there were no limits to the number of surveys, job titles, job descriptions that could be added to the database. Developed an Access database that BCG uses to add new surveys, job titles, and survey data cuts (salary related). The database allows the user to download into Excel all survey data, update the Excel file and re-load. Jenesis Software 1/2016 - 5/2018 Approximately 5-10 hours per week This was an Insurance application completely written in Microsoft Access. Remote desktop into server and worked on assigned tickets. Gamper & Associates 10/2015 - Current Sales and Commission database and Excel Dashboard. Developed new functionality in the database to track sales, import sales files.
