While at school I produced several videos for class projects. Outside of school, I enjoy creating and editing videos of different life events. During my time studying abroad, I created videos to share with family and friends. One of the most rewarding projects I got to work on during my time at West Virginia University was about a recovering addict. We became very close during the process and she is now able to share the video with people she’s sponsoring so they know there’s hope for them. I was able to share my knowledge with others when interning with Docs in Progress. They had a summer camp for adults 55 and over. For two weeks they learned how to use camera equipment, edit, and capture their stories. I enjoyed learning about each of their stories and teaching them how to tell a story that captures the most important elements.
