Now, you may be wondering… “If you’re that good, why are you on Upwork? And why do you have no track record on here?”
Good questions.
Until 2020 we'd been working full time on helping deliver results for the clients of our agency, Reliable Marketing.
During that time most of our clients came to us through referrals or our own marketing. (we practiced what we preach)
For that reason we’ve only ever done a few small projects on Upwork before the agency really took off.
This year my partner and I decided to wind down the agency business and just focus on continuing to help a few of our long term clients. (didn’t leave them stranded)
We're obsessed with marketing and helping clients but just not interested in growing an an agency-style business with employees and a high volume of clients.
Instead, we're looking to help out a few select businesses more intimately this year to rapidly growth their revenues with proven marketing strategies and tactics.
I do have some bad news however...
To be honest, we're in absolutely zero rush to get into a business relationship with just any company.
Believe it or not this isn’t some marketing or positioning tactics. (if you’re the kind of person that is that skeptical of everything please don’t bother messaging me)
I’ll be upfront with you. In working with over 300 clients we’ve learned some hard truths about marketing.
Most agency owners and freelancers have a massive incentive to promise the world to win your business.
They’ll tell you that just about anything you ask for "can be done" and often won’t ask a single question about your business. They promise the moon and deliver... well usually next to nothing!
Here’s the BRUTAL truth.
The best marketing in the world can’t save a broken business.
If you don’t have a solid product, proven economics, and a history of sales through other channels…
Investing in paid advertising is most likely just going to be a quick way for you to go broke.
That’s why before we work together we genuinely want to know everything there is to know about your business and what your goals are.
That way we can put together a plan to achieve those targets based on reasonable projections and timelines.
If that doesn't sound as exciting to you as blind promises of an upfront billion percent ROI… then you may want to look for an inexperienced marketer who can waste your money for free.
