o Just under (20) years of experience as a Supervisor/Manager, overseeing emergency safety and security procedures to enhance facility operations, process improvements, team building and both written and verbal communication, leadership, process improvement, group facilitation, and health and welfare benefits.
o Sixteen (17) years of experience and more conducting employee training and providing organizational development techniques, collaborating with colleagues, stakeholders, and executives to ensure quality services and resolve any issues, and conflict management.
While I have completed emerging leadership training, I have also completed the VA Mentorship program as a mentee and am serving as a Special Emphasis Program Manager for the LGBTQ+ community within the Delivery Operations Department, where I facilitate group sessions of up to 250 personnel. I am working to set new cultural beginnings within the Rapid Cycle Improvement Workgroup and the IVC Newsletter workgroup where I co-write blurbs featuring Neurodiversity Within the Workplace and Understanding Disabilities. I believe these are also great attributes to serve our mission better and I have gained department recognition for my efforts.
I have gained the ability to recognize and take advantage of emerging issues and developments. These experiences have also aided in my critical thinking, personal development, and planning and coordination skills, and have made me more of a team player who is detail-oriented, and an organized self-starter.
