My professional background is in teaching and I have taught in primary schools in London for the last sixteen years. I have a PGCE in Primary Education from the University of Brighton and a BA(Hons) in Theatre Studies and English Literature from the University of North London. I grew up in Finland, but moved to London when I was eighteen. I lived there for 26 years until following a cancer diagnosis (I am now three years cancer-free!) and then the COVID pandemic, my partner and I decided to try something different and moved to north of Finland! I also left the classroom behind. I enjoy writing in a wide range of genres and topics and can adapt my writing style to difference audiences. I mainly write in British English, but can also write in American English and have done so for some of my clients.
