I'm a native English speaker (American English) with a range of experience in creative writing, editing, translating, voice acting, and singing. I was published four times in 2020- thrice in "RDW's Poetry 365 Anthology", and once in "Pluviophile: A Poetry Collective" by Christopher Sedgwick. I am now co-editing "Pluviophile Collective" for 2021 with all profits going to mental health charities. Soon to be published in "The Best New British and Irish Poets Anthology" by the Black Spring Press Group! Last year I was hired to be the narrator of an audiobook at Inkitt, which is an amazing company that discovers and publishes authors. I really enjoyed giving a nuanced performance with such a fun character to voice. I believe I was able to capture the essence of the book by delving into the plot and getting to know the character on a personal level. I also recorded, edited, converted, and merged audio files of my narration. I have been singing for over eleven years, mostly self-taught, with the exception of a few months learning with a professional. I've performed on stage a couple of times and make covers on my social media. Last but not least, my life was rooted in Mexico for over seven years. I went to school there and got an internship as a medical secretary at Asian Lotus Clínica de Acupuntura. Among my duties were simultaneous interpretation and translation of medical documents. My name is Isabella Ambrosio and I am a freelance editor and journalist. I received my bachelours in English with Creative Writing with 2.1 hours.
