Are you having trouble getting your story out? Do words escape you? Are you too busy? Or, maybe, you've written your first draft and need a solid editor before revisions. Whatever the situation, whatever the story, whatever the stage of writing you're in, I will deliver the results you need. I have over ten years of experience with the written word and constantly strive to improve my work by studying techniques, conducting research, and putting the pen to the page every single day. With me, you are in capable, meticulous hands. I've always been the sort of person who thrives in order- a creative individual that prefers ideas thrown at her, if you will. I especially enjoy watching other writers flourish, learn, and succeed; it’s one of the most rewarding things about my job. Here on Upwork, I’ve collaborated with a handful of clients on large projects that included services such as heavy editing, ghostwriting, manuscript assistance, outline production, and a slew of other assignments. I do tend to gravitate toward long-term projects, but I am open to the right short-term assignment. My communication lines are wide open for the entirety of the project, and my client has my complete attention. My writing style is fluid. I can do different voices and stylistic flares, though I do insist on realistic human/humanoid reactions inside of the narrative. On a personal level, I'm quite empathetic and, just as in real life, it's very easy for me to see through different viewpoints. This is quite useful in writing, considering how many different personalities and experiences one must adopt in order to tell a good story. I'm a lively, adaptable, personable, and overactive writer as well as a solid editor. I'm very serious about the things that I love, and writing is most certainly one of them. I truly hope that you consider me to write, edit, or assist with whatever it is that needs to be worked on, because there's nobody better for the job. Below are the current services that I offer. Most prices vary by project, but a flat-rate fee can be negotiated. Thank you for your time, and I sincerely look forward to hearing from you soon. Book Coach: Outline development Manuscript development Character development Theme/Mood development Dialogue Structure Technique Characters Relationship Dynamics As my client, you will receive: A written critique of the manuscript, and specific ways to fix it. This can also include an overview of the skeleton, character bios, scene blocking, and so forth if applicable. After the initial critique, we will rework your story fundamentals. After the fundamentals are locked in place, I will guide you toward a strong finish for your book. Beta reading: Manuscript overview Marketability overview Proofreading: A final edit to clean up any stray mistakes Developmental Editing: Heavy structure editing Creative Writing: Ghostwriting Outlining (Skeletons, scenes, characters, etc) Lore and Worldbuilding Writing Assistance, Writing Partner: One initial video consultation before the contract is initiated, free of charge. We will discuss your manuscript (or your idea for a manuscript,) how much work each of us will contribute, and whether or not we are a good fit for one another. All other video calls will be charged by the hour. As a writing partner, I will do all of the boring legwork so that you don’t have to. Research, networking, method and technique application, etc. I will also either write your outline for you or provide you with a pre-structured outline to fill in. As to genres, I generally specialize in adventure, supernatural, dark fiction, fantasy, new adult, and historical fiction. I also have experience with children’s literature, young adult, women's fiction, and romance. I have no experience in (but am open to trying) science fiction, mystery, and anything that hasn’t been named above.Fiction Writing

I am an experienced freelance writer who is driven by my curiosity, passion for creation and the arts, and a desire to uncover deeper meaning in life. Although I primarily writes pieces on topics relating to philosophy and lifestyle, my research skills allow me to write about a wide range of subjects. As a high school student, I scored a 31 on the English portion and a 28 on the Reading portion of the ACT. As a college student (current) I have finished my General English classes, finishing English 102 with a 100% and scored highest in class during finals. I am continuing to study English through my Honors Degree and am so passionate about what I do and write. Outside of work, I participate in my college’s band, love to run and workout in the gym, and read books. I am pursuing a major in Business Administration in McNeese State University’s Honors College Program, as well as a minor in Technical Writing. My writing career has only begun, and I am ecstatic to see where it leads!Fiction Writing

In my freelance work, I manage multiple clients and execute highly successful storytelling orders (I carry a unanimous five-star rating). In the past 6 months, I've ghostwritten two backstory orders for a card game that was later funded on Kickstarter, crafted descriptive storyboards for an in-progress VFX project, and been involved with a VR group in developing a completely new IP for their upcoming PvP centric Metaverse game. Not only that, but I've also produced content for use on "About Me" web pages, social media posts, and even for NFTs. Additionally, in my "day job" as a high school English teacher, I routinely assist students in writing their own personal and creative narratives (I also grade them, which I would wager is a task on par with several editor positions). I'm positive my varied skill set would make me an immediate asset to any writer's room.Fiction Writing

I am a published poet. I edited and worked with authors to develop their story line and aid them in telling the story they would like. Being an editor is about team work. It’s the authors story, it’s my job to help them put that story into words and make it accessible to the reader. At times that comes with a little tough love but it is always meant to help the author more fully realize their vision.Fiction Writing

“Where are you going?” “I’m going to write.” I genuinely enjoy writing and typically write 4,000 words a day. I will offer you the edge you are looking for in your book. I am an experienced writer and ghostwriter with a passion for crafting captivating stories. With a portfolio of over 50 books under my belt, excluding client projects, I bring a wealth of expertise to every writing endeavor. My journey as a writer began in my early years, where I found solace in creating imaginative worlds within the pages of my trusty mead spiral notebooks. At the dining room table, a space rarely used for meals, I would lose myself in the art of storytelling. In those moments, as the evening sun cast its golden glow upon the room, the dark brown curtains took on a newfound beauty. It was within these self-made realms that I discovered an escape from loneliness, immersing myself in characters and narratives that offered solace and companionship. Seeking feedback and validation, I eagerly shared my stories with friends, who in turn, sometimes passed them on to their parents, evoking reactions that ranged from blushed cheeks to heartfelt admiration. Writing is not just a skill I possess; it is a genuine passion that fuels my creative spirit. On an average day, I commit myself to crafting 4,000 words, immersing myself in the art of storytelling. With each project, my aim is to transport readers to new dimensions, evoke emotions, and leave a lasting impact. As a writer/ghostwriter, I am dedicated to delivering exceptional results that align with my clients' visions and expectations. Whether you require an engaging novel, an informative non-fiction piece, or any other written content, I bring a professional approach, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting deadlines. Let my extensive experience and unwavering dedication to the craft elevate your project to new heights. Together, we can bring your ideas to life and create literary works that resonate with readers on a profound level. I am not afraid of controversy, of making the reader uncomfortable, for sometimes it is then that we discover something new about ourselves, something we’ve been afraid to admit was already there. I communicate daily with my clients, updating them on any changes or questions I might have. I am always ALWAYS writing. My favorite books are Alice in Wonderland and American Psycho. Another thing to note: I detest and ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE AI.Fiction Writing
