She made making the writer-editor relationship very easy and she was so welcoming." I've spent the last ten years working with my craft, building worlds, designing characters, and bringing it all to life. I'm a storyteller at heart, and I love to get into the little details that really make everything come together. My experience runs deep in the field, encompassing narrative design, genre theory, plot work and step sheets, and character development. In addition to a decade of professional writing experience, I have a B.A. in English and Creative Writing, during which I produced an extensive thesis on genre and narrative theory. I work in a wide variety of genres, including but not limited to: romance, fantasy, young adult contemporary, and science fiction. I'm extremely familiar with the components that make these genres tick, and I am always looking to learn more and broaden my horizons! I love to research my projects and discover as much as I can about the markets to which my work appeals. I also have a healthy interest in interactive narrative design. With many years in the entertainment industry as an Actor/Writer/Voice Artist, I bring a unique set of skills to a writing project. In my writing, I tell stories about all of us that uplift and celebrate the human spirit through its journey, success, angst, and challenges. As an actor, one enters the heart, mind, and spirit of another and shares it with the audience. Embracing another’s story, bringing it to life and colour, and telling it in their voice is very exciting for me. It is an enriching experience for all. Art is the essence of Life. My 1st screenplay, Welcome Home Kelly, culminated in a meeting with the Pres. of Universal Pictures and consideration for a co-production made off the lot. It was then submitted to Columbia Pictures and out of 1,000 submissions was one of seven selected for the Minority Writers Program at Columbia Pictures. In New York, ‘Kelly,’ was performed and produced as an Off-Broadway production. My 1st stage play, All About Sneakers, had 4 Off-Broadway productions, one for 100 homeless citizens. I am also writing a children’s book series, The Gemini Kiid, which was up for a children’s PBS TV program. In my work with the homeless, I took a NY team to Austria to participate in the “1st Homeless Streetsoccer World Cup,” and wrote a screenplay, Ew-Ess-Ah USA based on their journey. (The title refers to how the Austrians cheered for the USA.) I am also am the founder of a small, non-profit, volunteer organization, “The Chad Foundation for Athletes and Artists” that provides heart screenings to prevent Sudden Cardiac Death in Young Athletes and Artists. Having lost my son to SCD while playing football, I have written my 1st memoir, “CHAD, A Celebration of Life – Beyond A Mother’s Memories” which is now published and available online at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Shakespeare and Company. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. Hi there! I've been a writer since I learned to scratch out my first word. I believe in a one-size-fits-one approach where we develop an easygoing rapport. Please note that though I have an hourly rate posted, depending on the project, it may be more appropriate to charge per word. My usual rate is 2-5 cents per word. I do two main things: copywriting and erotic fiction. Odd combination? Maybe. Do I love doing both? Oh yeah. Am I good at both? Oh yeah. For copywriting, rely on me for: - Blogs - Industry articles - Email newsletters - Press releases - Website copy - Collaboration on books - More If you don't see what you need on this list, drop me a line. If I can't meet your need, it's likely that I know someone who can. For erotica, rely on me for: - Short stories - Collaboration on books - Safe romance - Fetish erotica - Some taboo subjects - More When COVID hit, some of my copywriting clients went under. While I got new clients, I decided to start writing erotica as a fun experiment. Part of this is because I don't like reading most erotica. I find it fluffy and boring. I found that fetishists are an underserved market, and being a curious person, I couldn't resist diving headfirst into all kinds of proclivities, from agalmatophilia to mysophilia. I can also write vanilla erotica and safe romance that is both sweet and intense. From buttoned-up to buck wild, let's go for it. Stop in and say hi!
