I have been a "Creative Dude" for most of my life. I consider it to be my professional "title". After completing my Associate's Degree in Multimedia Design with honors, I immediately gained real world experience working for major design firms, national corporations and a start up company from 2004 to 2012. I am expert level in Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress. As an independent film director and screenwriter, I have won multiple awards for short films I have written, directed and edited. From 2015 to 2023, I worked with an advanced acting class in Austin, TX, with people who were often acting on camera for the first time. I was able to get outstanding performances from people by recognizing and utilizing their strengths. It was extremely rewarding work for little to no pay. I left a very comfortable salary in 2012 to help small businesses and individuals develop marketing materials they would normally not be able to afford via most design firms. I specialize in web design as well independent film, primarily editing and direction. I maintain a list of clients and brands who have trusted my vision and direction for years. I believe in helping people grow. You will notice I have zero certifications. That is on purpose. I personally feel they are a waste of time and money. An internet search often produces more relevant and up to date information than a certification, especially in the ever changing environment of technology and design. Letters at the end of my name does not make me better suited to do what I do. My career and track record is proof of that.
