I helped wind down the company and then went to work as Vice President of Finance/Shared Services for EPI-Use Labs (a multinational SaaS company) where I led an international team of finance, HR and contract professionals with team members in the UK, Germany, South Africa and the United States. After EPI-USE Labs, I was the CFO and a member of the Board of Directors for Xcaliber Technologies (an international SaaS startup company) and Xcaliber Infotech (a sister company supplying all software development in Pune, India) where my primary responsibilities focused on all finance and accounting, securing and finalizing investment capital and all M&A activity. More recently, I was the CFO of a conglomeration of 12 real estate development companies, a property management company, and a commercial brokerage company. For the past four years I have been working as a fractional CFO for companies in healthcare, software, mortgage brokerage and non-emergency transportation. Prior to attending college, I worked for my father-in-law’s grocery distribution business in southern Utah for ten years. It was here that I learned perhaps the greatest two lessons of my career.
