I have successfully supported the growth of this organization, which initially had no employees, by providing guidance and strategic implementation. Currently, the organization boasts a workforce of 7 employees spread across six states, signifying their continued expansion and progress in achieving their goals. Client 2: As the person responsible for maintaining the financial records of an Episcopal Parish, I handle various tasks, including maintaining QuickBooks files, processing bill payments, payroll, retirement contributions, monthly reconciliation, and financial statements. Additionally, I assist the vestry in creating a budget for the organization. Furthermore, I take charge of the annual audit to ensure financial accountability and transparency for the parish. They have a large congregation and four properties, one being a historical site and two rentals. Client 3: Next is a private day school from pre-k to 8th grade. I ensure accurate recording of payroll and retirement contributions for approximately 60 employees. With a 5 million dollar budget, maintaining financial accuracy and compliance is a priority. Reconciliations are conducted monthly, and I take the lead in the audit process. Client 4: Another organization that focuses on providing services to low-income families has four divisions: an after-school program, a Spanish immersion after-school program, a family crisis center, and a summer camp. My grant experience grew as I was in charge of tracking, recording, and submitting federal and state-funded grants. Along with processing bill payments, payroll, retirement contributions, monthly reconciliation, and financial statements. I was the lead on the audit and prepared tax return Form 990. Client 5: I played a crucial role in the early stages of this foundation, which is only four years old. I helped them receive 501C(3) status and continue to support the Executive Director in maintaining its financial stability. By ensuring the smooth operation of the foundation, the ED is able to provide essential cardiac treatments to children with Down syndrome in developing countries. Client 6: Being the person responsible for handling billings, payroll, sales tax, monthly reconciliations, monthly financial reports, and the preparation of the 990 for an organization that has been protecting a constitutional right since 1934 with a $2 million dollar budget, I play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and compliance of the organization. Client 7: As the controller for a client with a long-standing historical reputation, founded in 1912, it is crucial for me to take my job and duties seriously. While it is unfortunate to uncover employee fraud, when it does, I am committed to addressing the issue diligently.
