Need to convince investors or a bank what a great investment your start-up or growing company is? You'll need a quality business plan or investor presentation and a detailed financial forecasting model. Or maybe you need a temporary CFO to handle the internal financial planning elements of your new company or a specific project? Put my extensive experience in London, in commercial banking and as a corporate CFO in London, New York, and Moscow and other markets to work for you. Detailed financial analysis/planning and comprehensive business plans for growing businesses in the UK/US and abroad are my specialty. A recent due diligence review by an angel investor group for one of my Upwork client's application packages called that package, "...one of the few combinations of documents that we reviewed from a potential client where all components of a well-thought out business model were present." You can see many examples of my financial models in my Upwork profile. All of these models have been built using my proprietary Microsoft Excel template developed over many years of real world use. Using this limited copyright template as the fully customized base for your own fully customized model helps assure your model's accuracy and integrity (very important!) while also saving you significant time and money (also important!). You will be able to change any assumption in your model and the effects of the change will then flow through the entire model. You and your investors can easily see all of the financial dimensions of any scenario - varying levels of revenue, customer/patient/client counts, unit sales, product pricing, operating expenses, equity, debt and dividends. These models are build for lots of "What If?" testing. Need a pitch deck too? That will be easy once your business plan is complete. (I am not a graphics person, so I will design your pitch's content only and then work with a graphics person of your choice to make the pitch visually appealing for your investor audience.) I typically use only Microsoft Word, PowerPoint or Excel. I do not usually use pre-packaged online "business plan" software because none of these packages are robust enough to adapt to the nuances and unique elements of most companies' financial modeling needs (especially for start-ups) over multiple years. But if you prefer to use such software, that's what we'll use. Typically, the time needed to complete a business plan for an established company is 25 to 30 total hours over 2 - 4 weeks. The same work for a start-up is typically about 20% - 25% greater. Quicker turnarounds are usually not a problem. (I charge a 50% premium for turnaround requirements of less than seven work days.) The time required to complete your plan or presentation largely depends on the complexity of your business and how quickly you can provide me with information about your plans, products and services, etc., review the work as it progresses and respond to my ongoing questions.. Once we discuss the specific content you need, I can usually start work on your project immediately. If you would like me to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) or similar confidentiality document, that is not a problem. I typically only do Upwork projects on an hourly basis at a rate of between $39/hr. - $49/hr., depending on the complexity and difficulty of completing the project to the quality required. (If your project is for a charity, NGO or religious organization, I will consider a fixed price contract and always cut my usual fee by 25%.) The time I spend on your hourly project will be tracked by Upwork's time tracking software and reported directly to you by Upwork each Monday. I am committed to your complete satisfaction and will gladly make minor changes to my work for you within 30 days of completion at no additional cost. After 30 days I will make adjustments of any kind to the plan or financial model at my hourly rate for such changes at that time (currently US$39/hour). So, let's talk!
