Hey, I’m Stratos! Since 2017, I’ve been immersed in the world of game development, focusing primarily on Unity to build games for WebGL, mobile (Android/iOS), and desktop (Windows/Mac). My approach to development is simple: make games that are fun, accessible, and solid under the hood. Every project I tackle, I treat like my own, ensuring it’s not just functional but a real experience for players. Challenges? I’ve had plenty. From integrating Firebase functions for a seamless user experience to optimizing asset loading through Unity’s Addressables system, I’ve faced technical hurdles head-on and come out stronger. Whether it’s handling big, complex projects or overcoming sneaky bugs in WebGL builds, I’m used to navigating the tricky parts of development. But, for me, it’s all part of the process—solving problems, learning, and adapting is what I love. What can I do for you? Here’s a snapshot: ✅ Unity Development: Expertise in building for WebGL, mobile, and desktop platforms. ✅ Firebase Integration: Implementing real-time functionality and notifications, ensuring your game stays connected and engaging. ✅ Addressables & Asset Management: Efficiently handling large amounts of assets, reducing load times and memory usage for smooth performance. ✅ Sound Design & FMOD Integration: Building immersive soundscapes that enhance gameplay. ✅ Multiplayer Features: Implementing engaging multiplayer systems for replayability and community building. ✅ AdMob Implementation: Seamlessly integrating ads for monetization without compromising the player experience. ✅ QA & Testing: Rigorous testing to ensure every aspect of your game works as intended, avoiding those game-breaking bugs. ✅ Game Design Documentation (GDD): I create clear, structured GDDs to map out your game, keeping both the vision and execution in line from start to finish. ✅ Prototyping: Rapidly developing ideas into playable prototypes to test concepts and refine mechanics early in the process. Here’s a bit more about how I work: I’m driven by principles like KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) and SOLID, to ensure everything I build is maintainable and scalable. If you’ve ever wrestled with game-breaking bugs right before a deadline, you know how crucial solid code is. That’s where I come in! whether it’s saving performance in a WebGL build or keeping your assets manageable with Addressables, I’m here to take the stress off your shoulders. I’ve worked through tough WebGL builds where compression issues were causing headaches, and resolved Firebase check-in systems that seemed impossible to perfect. But we pushed through, iterating until everything worked as it should. I’ll bring that same level of commitment and persistence to your project. If you’re looking for someone who’s not just technically proficient but also ready to dive deep into your project and take on challenges with you, let’s chat. I’m not just about coding—I’m here to help bring your vision to life in a way that’s smooth, engaging, and most importantly, fun. I’m ready when you are. Let’s make something amazing together!Game Design

Aspiring Game Developer & Designer, experienced in Godot and a little in Unity. 4+ years of experience in multiple genres. Skills include : -Game/Level design -Game mechanics analysis -Developing small/medium scale projects (Godot) -Helping development in small/medium scale projects (Unity) -Sound design (Music/SFX) -Visual design (vibe/aesthetics/theme) Software I'm using on a daily basis : -Godot -Reaper -Github -Jira Software I'm familiar with : -Unreal -Unity Other skills (not so relevant) : -Drums -Saxophone -Very, very very long designed campaigns for DnD 5e -Music nerd More into detail? Alright, I try to design games with very clear pictures in my head. I imagine myself booting up the game as a person that knows nothing, and I try to use the "info" gathered while playing to answer questions about the game's design. Is this mechanic properly explained? If not, is it on purpose? If it's on purpose, is it to create mystery or to bundle that mechanic up with something else down the road? Is this balanced? Does it matter if it's balanced? Do we want the players to have more freedom to explore mechanics/stat combinations and break the game, or do we want a more closed path? If we want freedom, do we feel ok with players disregarding entire mechanics, or do we want them to experience them? A lot of questions need to be answered before making up a GDD, which include the emotions we want to invoke on a player, the purpose of the game, and how we're going to achieve that. Want to achieve mystery? A dark atmosphere isn't enough. A non-existent tutorial neither. How are we going to make the player question stuff around them? Are mechanics going to be changing? Should X thing that worked in Y way change mid-game to confuse the player? If yes, how will we make the player understand that this isn't a "bug" or a misstep in our own part, but a design? Are we going to connect Y way to Y+1 way? How? There are lots and lots of interesting things you can do in a game, and having broad pictures and scenarios on your head about a game's direction is a good place to start, but a lot of stuff needs to be said & written before we start working on it. I try to avoid development hell, and the number one cause (so far) is a not clear enough path or purpose for the game. Some mechanics/ideas/anything will come down the road during development, some will be discarded because they weren't fun or just didn't stick, and of course a lot of things will change. But the pillars of the game need to be intact, otherwise the game is risking re-purposing it's entire self because we didn't built strong enough foundations.Game Design

I've been designing & developing games, applications and other software solutions since 2011. When I work on a project, I strive for excellence and 100% client satisfaction. I can understand both long-term and short-term goals, I am good at planning but I also know how to stick to a plan if one is provided. When there's time, I like engineering robust solutions that can handle the test of time (modularity, upgradability, sustainability). That doesn't mean I don't know how to develop fast and dirty when the situation demands it; ie. specific unforeseen deadlines. Though I'm a technical person I've worked successfully both for and with non-technical people so I tune conversations and reports based on who I'm talking to. I take pride in my job and I'm good at it. On the projects I've worked on, I usually end up wearing many hats. From developing games on my own, to undertaking intimidating projects with a very small team I can work efficiently in any of the following areas of expertise: game design & development, algorithm engineering, computer science R&D, software engineering and coding. The foundations of these skills come from my education, which is a Bachelor's in Computer Science & Engineering and two Master's degrees (one in Computer Science and one in Game Design) as well as my growth on top of these foundations through dedicated & passionate freelance work. Have an awesome idea or a project that's underway? Send me a message. Maybe I can help make it a reality. You can view some of my work under the Portfolio section of my profile.Game Design

Through my academic studies I have been gravitating towards human-centric applications of technology. Initially I applied myself to prosthetics, doing a master's thesis on a mathematical model of human walking with minimal energetics/control cost. More recently, my PhD is focused on the methods we use to measure biases on perception and memory that people with anxiety and major depressive disorder exhibit, sometimes before becoming aware of other symptoms themselves. I have been working on Bayesian inference methods in order to combine theoretical findings from reinforcement learning and decision making with experimental evidence from behavioral tasks, while quantifying uncertainty from various sources around the results.Game Design

After getting a Bachelor in Graphic Design and a Master in 3d Animation, I worked in several design projects, such as books, magazines, CD-ROMs, video animations, museum expeditions, and company logos. But my deep desire has always been to design and develop my own computer games. I started learning programming by myself and finally realized my dream. Besides games I program business, educational and recreational mobile applications. My double role gives me the edge to create projects that are complete in both function and aesthetics. What I love most about my job is seeing an idea coming to life. When I am not working, I am a vintage computer games lover, a wanna-be tennis champion and, most of all, the best dad in the world.Game Design
