    My GIS career accidentally started 15 years ago as a young wildlife technician. I needed to learn GIS to create my own field maps, collect data, and then analyze and create maps for reports. I was hooked and soon became the office GIS guru. In 2009, I decided to fully pursue a career in GIS and went back to school to get my Masters of Science in GIS. Ever since, I have been all in. Over the years I procured many skills: spatial data management and analysis; learning to code in a number of languages (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Python, R) for creating interactive web maps and automating analyses; ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Server administration, publishing, and maintenance; authoring data collection apps using ArcGIS FieldMaps and Survey123; and enhanced cartographic skills for printed publications. As my talents grew I moved into more GIS system administration, learning the ins and outs of project management and supporting multiple departments. As a private consultant my purpose is to utilize my skills and passion for GIS to provide valuable services for your company, non-profit, or government agency, large or small.
