Are you looking for a dedicated collaborative writer, coach, or ghostwriter who believes your story is your own and will provide you with a deep and enriching experience as well as a final written work you can put your name on? Are you interested in a professional cold call interviewer--someone who can seamlessly insert themselves into the story as interviewer--who believes the characters in your story reside within you, and our interviews are a means to releasing those characters from within you and freeing them to act from the page? I am a professional writer and creative currently pursuing a MicroMasters in Writing for Performance and the Entertainment Industries with the University of Cambridge. In a prior life I attended Music School for Voice during undergraduate studies and later studied privately with Noel George of the Detroit Metropolitan Opera. I excelled at the University of Michigan, earning a 3.5 GPA in graduate coursework. I wrote for academic publication, including biographical sketches for Gale Researche's Notable Native Americans, and Who's Who. I wrote for the publishing industry, including Publisher's Weekly, and Booklist, and did feature news articles on socially relevant contemporary issues as well as Op-Eds. I took time off from writing--a long time actually, twenty years to be exact, but don't let that get in the way of hiring me--to tend to my needs and raise a family. I am currently writing a memoir, seeking literary representation and I co-host a weekly RSS Feed podcast devoted to dissecting the writing of engaging story: Backstory Podcast. In another prior life I conceptualized, designed and wrote new forms of personal development curricula in the Arts. Utilizing my curricula as the centerpiece, one of my first proposals landed a coveted position with industry leader Steinberg as one of four training centers in North America. Prior to this, I was responsible for editing, proofreading, and content development for multiple Arts Studio projects related to commissions. With a background of education, early experience, and personal interest, I focus my interviewing for biographical and autobiographical projects. I work swiftly without sacrificing quality and am adept in several creative nonfiction subgenres. I'm a write-at-home Mom and an early riser with a penchant for the transformational qualities of the written word that I'd love to put towards projects like yours.HistoryDevelopmental EditingLiteratureCoachingCopywritingStory DevelopmentCreative WritingGhostwritingShort Story WritingBiography & MemoirCharacter DevelopmentCharacter DesignEditing & ProofreadingTopic ResearchEnglish - $20 hourly
