I’m a 3D max specialist with 5+ years of experience in 3D rendering and interior design. I worked on residential houses, apartments, offices, hotels and restaurants. With every client, I work individually and work hard to convey the most realistic view of the interior, so when the client sees the finished render, she/he already feels her/his presence in this place. It helps a lot to understand how it will be in real life. When creating the interior, I use plans, decorations and mood boards to make sure that my client will get a comfortable workplace, an ergonomic office and a cozy living environment. When I work with 3D Visualization, my goal is to create the maximum photorealistic render. Design and visualization are my passion. I always carefully listen to my clients, their requirements and desires and strive for perfection. I only get satisfied when I achieve the best possible render. You can check all my previous works in my portfolio. I am very responsible and strict with deadlines, and you can contact me anytime to discuss the project. "Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe." - Abraham Lincoln Sometimes, people inexperienced in construction may see structural engineering as just one more hurdle the building department is making them jump. But an experienced contractor knows how much a *good* set of structural drawings saves time and materials. As a structural engineer, I build your entire building--virtually, in my mind and on my screen--several times over before the contractor ever shows up on site. I identify the pitfalls and iron out the kinks so when the contractor finally builds the real building everything goes just smoothly. I am a trailblazer. I am also a licensed Structural Engineer (SE) in Illinois and Professional Engineer (PE) in California and Wisconsin. I have extensive experience designing both residential and commercial buildings, and I am proficient in building code requirements for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood construction. I hold a master's degree in structural engineering from Stanford University. I was *the* project engineer on a $600 million expansion of Sears Tower, Chicago's tallest skyscraper. But I have also worked on many many small, one-off projects; for example, I once designed an opening in a bearing wall to allow wheelchair access to a client's living room. What that means is that I have the expertise to manage very large projects, but that I also know how to work efficiently to meet the budget constraints of very small projects.Home DesignBuilding DesignCivil EngineeringArchitectural DesignStructural EngineeringAutodesk AutoCADWooden StructureStructural AnalysisSteel StructureEarthquake Engineering - $80 hourly

Could an Emmy Award-winning journalist help you captivate your audience with your speeches, content writing, or research? You’ll have the benefit of my 20+ years of experience reporting on local and state government, health and medical trends, consumer interests and general news. In my years at CNN, CNN International, CNN Headline News, CNN Radio News, and network affiliates of CBS, ABC and NBC I have delivered 9,000+ news segments and conducted more than 3,000 interviews. My work included writing, proofreading, editing, and delving into all kinds of subjects; and interviewing people from all walks of life and all over the world—Presidents, celebrities, and everyday people in triumph and in tragedy. Deadlines in both text and visuals have long been a way of life, along with teamwork. From breaking news stories to the world, to producing and fronting award-winning news series and live specials, it takes a team. My work has also lead me into the worlds of both writing speeches and making public addresses. And as you know, most speeches are not very good, in fact some might say boring. Having had the good fortune to work in international news coverage on major networks and local markets means I played a key role in making news interesting. For you this means you will have decades of experience blending the facts and the story, and engaging your audience in a way that encourages them to take action. My experience includes years of hosting everything from Chamber of Commerce, United Way and other business breakfasts, to emceeing arena concerts with artists like Willie Nelson and the late Waylon Jennings. I’ve been invited to speak to college students, older people, Rotarians, Lions, political groups, and other special interest groups. If your realm of interest is politics, you’ll have my experience as a two-time congressional candidate and the world that opened—hosting the Speaker of the House on several fund-raising occasions, being endorsed by a future Secretary of Education, addressing the Republican Congressional Caucus. It was a deep dive into how American politics works and the nitty-gritty of running a campaign: fundraising, event planning, speech writing, news conferences and debates, meetings with business leaders, and constant contact with the public. This experience plus working and living in 7 states and abroad have given me a good feel for how your clients, donors, or other stakeholders think and feel—a useful input to writing and researching. In the field of business copywriting, especially B2B, I am a certified content writer in both case studies and sales enablement. Among other pursuits, as a one-woman marketing department I churned out emails, newsletters and news releases in agritourism—while helping grow membership in a community cost- share food co-operative program by 10- fold in 2 years. As an independent real estate investor, I have 20+ years successful experience in buying, selling, flipping, renovating, and rentals. My familiarity with home construction, maintenance and repair, interior design, working against time and budget constraints, frugality, and PEOPLE means you’ll have a team member who understands real estate investing and how what works with one renter requires an entirely different approach with another. Passions: reading, gardening, travel and music--playing piano and flute while earning a degree in music education, reading music well, singing in and playing for choirs and select choral groups, and teaching elementary school music. Another passion of mine is proofreading and editing. I may have been the only TV newsperson reading off a prompter to have cared how the words were spelled. My other professional experiences in editing include a cookbook, a children’s book, and a high-end coffee table book on the history of paperweights.Home DesignPolitical CampaignPublic SpeakingWhite Paper WritingCase StudiesEditing & ProofreadingProofreadingJournalismJournalism WritingProfessional ToneWritingReal EstateSpeechesSpeech WritingContent Writing - $100 hourly

I have over 40 years of extensive experience in the construction industry. I have worked in most segments of the industry commercial, residential and remodeling. I enjoy all aspects of residential construction. I have been involved with projects starting with land acquisition, preliminary design, Interior design of kitchens, bathrooms, built-in custom cabinetry and mill work. I have had the privilege of working with many of Chicago's premier designers and architects. I have value engineered several projects to get them back on budget. I have a vast amount of experience in understanding and interpreting all of the national building codes. Many cities/counties have their own unique requirements, I have experience in working with building departments to ensure all codes are met for a particular Municipality. During My tenure with Girmscheid Builders, Inc. I was proud to be apart of an Award-winning design build team. We received numerous awards for best kitchen, best bath, best over all. We were successful in each of the tour of home/parade of homes we participated. We discovered it was in our best interest to purchase a CAD software system to assist in designing to the customer's budget. In the late nineties we purchased a “Solid Builder” system and began doing much of our design in house. I later switched to “Chief Architect” enabling our customers to see the finished product in 3-D perspective. The president of Girmscheid Builders “Terry Girmscheid “ is a top designer in the residential market place. After the down turn in residential construction during 2006 to 2008 we refocused on construction consulting. I concentrate on CAD work and construction documentation. Terry concentrates on her award-winning designs. We also have a 3rd member of the team who specializes in site management. The advantage of using a successful building team is our extensive knowledge of the actual building process and budget. And the biggest advantage is you are getting 3 for the price of one. Although I am not a licensed architect I guarantee all work will be completed in accordance with your local building codes. My work can be reviewed and stamped by a licensed structural engineer in your State. If the engineer or the Building Department require changes to the plan I will complete that work at no additional charge.Home Design3D Design2D DesignChief Architect Want to browse more freelancers?
