I've been a student of BYU for over two years. I have a profound interest in the study of Information Systems and plan to enter the BYU Information Systems Bachelor Degree program in the fall of 2025. My work experience includes two jobs at customer support centers in the last two years, each in the industry of loans. During my time at these jobs, I was able to assist customers in finding ways to reduce their past due/upcoming payments, planning on when we would be able to pay off their loans, and working with them to find solutions to their current financial situations. Currently I work for BYU's Office of Technology, responding to threats to services on campus that impact the internal structure of BYU. I consult with engineers and developers to come up with solutions to problems as they come up and work to have these problems reconciled. Over the summer I was able to complete work on an internship with Waterbrook Advisors. As their Financial Analyst Intern I sourced over 500 companies, increasing their reach by over 20%. This experience helped me understand the financial industry better and ways to communicate with small business owners to help them see their value. My most recent door-to-door experience was with a pest company, which tested my work ethic, dedication to team efforts, and communication/negotiation with potential clients. I finished the summer with my team taking second place at the Hawx Cup Competition, where we competed with all of the almost 15 teams in the company. As a student of IS110, IS120, IS201, and IS303, I am proficient in SQL, Python, HTML, and CSS. I am constantly seeking opportunities to challenge and improve my coding capabilities, including through personal projects that I consider fun hobbies. One factor that sets me apart is definitely my resilience. As a goal-setter and motivated person, I have been able to receive accolades in piano as a decorated pianist, where I traveled the world performing and competing in Russia, New York, Michigan public radio, Arizona concert halls, and with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. It's this same work ethic that pushed me to complete my half and full marathons this past year. It also motivates me to become a better person every day. In any field I'm in, I strive for excellence and completion.HTML
