While the majority of my professional and volunteer experience is centered on Human Resources, I bring with me a vast amount of operational and management experiences in a broad array of organizations. Those organizations range in size from the tiny (around $300K in volume) to large ($1.2B), they range in structure (owner-operators through more standard corporate organization), and they range in their relative life-cycle stage (start up to entering their decline). I approach my work in HR as a teacher and guide to organizations and I always bear in mind the concept of passing along skills and knowledge as opposed to establishing dependency. The greatest measure of success I have for myself is hearing the words that an organization has taken a step forward, needs me less, and can make confident decisions. My passion for Human Resources is matched only by my love of Maine (and my dogs…but that’s an entirely different conversation). I have worked with a multitude of organizations (both for profit and not for profit). Each of these companies were simultaneously the same and completely different. Each one faced challenges that many (perhaps all) small organizations do: time, money, people, processes, and perspective to name a few. Each one approached those challenges in a completely different manner with completely different outcomes. I look forward to speaking with you about your organization and your HR needs.Human Resource Management
