ABOUT ME: I am a Dutch designer who moved to South Africa 3 Years ago. I finished two studies, one in woodworking (specialized in cabinet making), and the other one in Industrial design. After my studies I worked for a Dutch company with high profile clients, such as Tommy Hilfiger, Armani and Nike. I became Head designer as we designed furniture and presenters for the stores. I learned a lot about trends, production and keeping the clients budget. The market is also turning to a more environment friendly market, I had to fully commit in learning everything there is about bio-based. After a few years I really became a expert in designing very efficient since our customers wanted their design quick and feasible. I traveled to China many times, to check the quality on my designs, and learn more about production techniques. After I moved to South Africa, I did a lot of freelancing for several companies.
