I use Excel daily at work as an auditor. My work entails auditing operations ad process development for Private Equity portfolio company. Here's what functions I usually use: I use lookups (mostly Xlookups but can do any lookup), INDIRECT, conditional formatting, sorting and data cleaning for auditing. For process development, I work with more data, so I clean data a bit more before doing the above. I also use pivot tables and create visuals for ad hoc analysis tasks. I enjoy this the most. I am also enjoying using Power Query to help me transform data that is a bit too "dirty" for common cleaning functions. Before this job, I had some experience at a small private equity company learning and performing financial valuation for public companies, which really helped me learn how to use Excel efficiently by almost never using the mouse.Internal Auditing
