Experienced leader and senior communicator. For much of the last decade my focus has been on organizational change and the role of disruptive technology and innovation in driving enterprise value - and more specifically - the value of communications in explaining technology and innovation across audiences and channels. Recent work in this space includes communications support and counsel to the IT and Enterprise Transformation teams at $5B WL Gore leading up to the recent restructuring from a center-led divisional structure to independent operating units. Prior to the Gore work, I led a similar effort supporting Tyco's IT function during an organizational transition to an operating company from a holding company. In both cases, my teams delivered 80th percentile engagement scores across a diverse set of audiences and channels. Disruptive IT and transformation communications strategy and execution has been a natural progression from my early career as a manager and director of financial communications covering quarterly earnings, crisis communications, executive communications, board decks, major M&A initiatives and other Treasury activities. Across industries and often in times of dramatic and significant change, my teams (direct reports and matrixed) have consistently performed above expectations. We’ve delivered quantifiable improvements in audience engagement scores, building meaningful connections with audiences ranging from boards of directors to business partners, media, industry and financial analysts, employees and their leaders.
