These include general ledger entries, project accounting, cost center accounting , special ledger and other associated processes. * Led the transition from a standard cost model to a moving average cost model as part of the SAP implementation which resulted in the write-off of less than 0.2% of the value of an inventory valued at over $100 million. * Redesigned the Return Reserve process to allow for a more accurate booking by country and title and created a top sheet that groups all key values on a single screen and allows for easy update and analysis. * Designed a system through use of Microsoft Access and the AS/400 to accurately track sales and inventory for high-value items not tracked through the standard and implemented several new reports to aid in analysis of the business. * Collaborated with other departments on special task force created to deal with supply chain issues related to the Los Angeles shipyard lockout in 2002. Received a team award for participation * Provided analysis on vendor services that was used to drive a lowering of certain gross expenses by 24%.
