Delivery Method—In writing, editing, and proofreading assignments, two drafts will be provided for your changes or corrections. Following the second draft, a final, corrected copy will be given. Hello. My name is Andrew Davey. I have over eight years’ experience in journalism, and seventeen years' experience in blogging and content creation. Having worked my way up over these last seventeen years, I am continually on the lookout for new challenges in media, and I truly want to achieve new professional goals and grow further as a content creator. I believe that this experience, coupled with my excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, make me a strong candidate for this position. In my previous roles at Let's Talk Nevada, Nevada Forward, and Nevada Today, I was responsible for juggling day-to-day local news coverage - from public lands "range war" to public health emergencies. In the 2016 and 2020 election cycles, I worked on these stories alongside presidential election coverage, and I did my best to "connect the dots" with readers as we sought answers from the candidates when they came to visit. More recently, I have worked as a writer for Digital Trends' The Manual. There, I have written brand new content and brought older content up to date. Thus far, I have completed multiple travel guides, special travel content, outdoor adventure guides, product reviews, and additional educational content.
