I have significant writing, research, and consulting skills and experience. During my 34 years as an attorney, writing legal documents was an essential part of my law practice. I regularly drafted a variety of legal documents, including without limitation, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, entity formation documents, operating agreements, securities offering documents, immigration petitions, and many other different types of contracts and agreements. It was critical that I drafted these documents in a manner consistent with my clients’ intentions. As a result, these documents had to be drafted precisely and clearly. Besides legal documents, as an attorney, I also regularly wrote letters to my clients and letters to opposing counsel or government officials, such as opinion letters on legal issues, and sales letters and proposal letters concerning possible work. In writing these letters, I had to be both informative and persuasive. My clients would commonly request my help in writing certain of their business documents, and I would “ghostwrite” for them such documents as business plans, loan applications, and solicitations to investors. From time to time, I would review the work of other attorneys and thereby developed experience in proofreading and editing (where necessary) their writings. I also wrote speeches, seminar materials, and numerous articles on various legal and business topics for a variety of audiences, including without limitation, sponsored by American Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Northwestern Mutual, Merrill Lynch, American Airlines, and Association of Legal Administrators. I also had extensive experience in researching both legal issues and other issues related to legal matters as an attorney. I am very qualified in the use of Lexis and Westlaw to research issues. Currently working as a consultant, I assist clients with writing and research projects, including without limitation, that I wrote blogs and researched and analyzed immigration issues for a company that helps people obtain visas and residence permits and citizenships in the United States and other countries around the world. My writing and research skills are very helpful to my clients as I provide business and wealth planning and other advice concerning the subjects of estate planning, asset protection planning, tax planning, series limited liability companies, corporations, and other business entities, securities, real estate, intellectual property, probate, immigration, business transactions, international business, and contracts. In connection with this work, I write a monthly newsletter. Apart from my work experience, I also have recent writing experience in helping my children with their high school essays, college application essays, and scholarship applications, and writing an obituary for a family member. I have always loved to write and truly get satisfaction from a well-crafted, coherent composition. I believe that written communication involves more than coding and emojis. I look forward to the opportunity to help others with their writing, research, and consulting needs.Letter Writing

I excel at telling stories and dissecting complicated topics, making them easy to comprehend through compelling narrative. I have honed my feature writing and interviewing skills through a career as a journalist and in higher education. For 27 years, I served as editor of Illinois State University's alumni magazine and the primary writer for campus. My experiences range from chronicling a person's journey to explaining research, drafting strategic plans and creating capital campaign materials. I have authored two books--one for children and the other a 100-year historical review of a nursing college. Editing and proofreading are two additional strengths, as I have aided in removing gremlins from short documents while also perfecting grants and polishing corporate asks. I am a national award-winning writer who manages projects from start to completion on deadline. As an author coach for a publishing house, I have helped myriad authors take their book from concept to publication. I excel in helping authors organize their thoughts, overcome writer's block, tighten and polish their narrative, and remain motivated to reach their goal. I am also a ghostwriter for authors who cannot finish their manuscript, interviewing them extensively and writing their story. If you are seeking someone who can write tightly and communicate effectively, I can help! Thank you for your consideration. I hope to hear from you!Letter Writing

As a versatile content creator, I love playing with words and colors. Whether you’re using me for writing, image design, or both, I possess a writing style that conveys sincerity and knowledgeability, and image designs that express vibrancy. My background includes being an English + Language Arts instructor, and a freelancer for several small companies’ publications to drive audience interactivity around intimacy and sexual wellness. Collectively, I’ve spent thousands of hours reviewing and lending feedback to others’ writing and projects, alongside creating my own pieces of content. Whether the scope of a project is big or small, I find joy in helping others give it wings for taking flight and being viewer-ready! What I believe sets my work apart is my ideation process and my careful eye. I start to spark original thinking and create once I feel confident of what an audience may be believing or feeling (and this is regardless of if your desired content is surface level or requires depth). So, when coming up with ideas, I will conduct multi-source research around the topics tied to your content's focus, as well as the consumer profiles of those who engage with said topics. Then, I do free thought exercises to imagine your intended audience’s perceptions and emotional responses. To me, having a careful eye means constantly dialing my focus in and out – sharpening a piece’s details, while adhering to a clear big picture / vision – and keeping this multifocus in constant dial-ogue ;-). And ultimately, a product is finished when it’s finished; i.e., I’m willing to review, reflect, and redraft as many times as it takes to get it right. I hope you’ll have a look at the samples of my work, and I can’t wait to assist you in fulfilling the best scenarios you’ve imagined for your content objectives. Working with me means you’ll have someone who is reliably responsive, and motivated to understand your goals and deliver satisfying results. Some examples of what I can do for your business, company, or individual pursuits include**: Informative articles Blog posts or essays Instagram and/or Facebook posts Brochure content Website and/or e-commerce content (ex. about us, product and category descriptions, services, etc.) Editing and proof-reading drafts of your pre-created content to get it ready for publication **This includes both original writing, and as needed, an integration of original images using Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or staged photographyLetter Writing
