I’m an academician (Assist. Prof. Dr.) at the department of English translation and interpreting at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University. I’ve supervised many theses both MA and PhD and still many more to come. I hold my PhD in linguistics, therefore I’ve specialized in linguistics. My translation experience dates back to 1997 so I’ve been in the translation business for 25 years. My latest translated books are “White House Years” by Henry Kissinger, “Logic” by William Stanley Jevons, “Of Money” by David Hume, “Mirrorty” by Serkan Aktaş (MA Thesis), and “The Librarian” by Serkan Aktaş (PhD Thesis). Also, one more to come: “Money Men: A Hot Startup, A Billion Dollar Fraud, A Fight for the Truth” by Dan McCrum. My latest edited books are Summer with Grandpa - Büyükbabayla Yaz: A Turkish English bilingual children's book by Elisavet Arkolaki and Interactive English-Turkish Dictionary with Pictures by Rafus Academy. I’ve translated many documents and numerous articles presented in various conferences. I give lectures at the postgraduate level at the university on translation studies, localization, CAT tools and MTPE. I could say that I’m dedicated to my work and very passionate about it. I definitely finish my projects in due time with the proofreadings done. I’m a native speaker of Turkish. Because I lived in Toronto and London for many years and I’m an academician at the department of English translation and interpreting, my English level is native-like. I definitely provide high quality human translation services so all materials that are for proofreading are excellent and I always aim to high efficiency. English-Turkish, Turkish-English translation, transcription, proofreading and editing are the services I provide.
