Hey business owner-- “are you frustrated?”
I’ll explain more in a moment, but first I have story:
A young boy, determined to hit a home-run, shuffles awkwardly to the plate, his oversized helmet, too far forward on his head, his baseball pants a little big.
He holds the bat, which looks nearly as tall as him.
A fierce stare at the pitcher, 2 years his senior.
The ball comes streaking toward the plate, and this little 8-year old, swings with all his might!
His bat?
Totally misses the ball, but the momentum of that home run swing spins him around more than 360 degrees, and when the dust settles, he’s facing the wrong way...
No home runs just yet for this little guy, but he’s got an attitude that will take him far.
It’s this same attitude which spurred him to get up to bat over, and over until…
WHACK!
And the ball is flying out the park. Again, and again, and again.
You may have guessed by now, but this little boy is me, and this story is true.
It took years to finally get that pitchers number, and finally DOMINATE the field I was in.
This attitude has carried me through life. From baseball to copywriting and web development.
Never give up. Never give in.
Here’s the point to my quick story…

This is no knock on the really great freelancers on here, and there are many!
However..
This is a knock on the people who don’t take the time to deeply understand their craft.
We are NOT the end-all-be-all, we ARE a tool by which the business owner (*you*) uses to reach the target audience.
Otherwise we’d never need you…
I want to be very clear when I say this:
“When you work with me, you must expect the boundaries to be pushed.”
