So, I figured: Rather than TELL you how I'm the Tom Brady of copywriting with 999,999,999.99 years of experience --- like there isn't plenty of that out there already --- why don't I just SHOW you my numbers and let you be the judge. *Refer to my first portfolio image for the numbers* Seen the numbers? So, here's the gist behind it... Early this year, I finally made up my mind to open an Upwork account to start offering my Copywriting services on here as well - after putting off the idea for so long. After looking around the Upwork platform for a bit, I noticed that a lot of service providers did one thing in common... Tell, tell, and tell some more. Boring. I quickly realized that in order to stand out and make it easier and faster for you (yes, you reading this) to make the decision to hire me (with full confidence that I CAN deliver), I needed to do something dramatically DIFFERENT.... I needed to SHOW and not tell. What better way to do that than to actually write a sales copy and see if (and how well) it would pull in sales. Genius idea, no? Well, to do that, I decided to write TWO sales copies (one Facebook ads copy and one landing page sales copy) and launch a direct response sales campaign. The (funnel) structure was a very simple one. It had three pages: 1. A Landing page - with the sales copy selling the product (a retrofit tap filter). 2. A payment page. 3. A thank you page. I loaded my Facebook Ads copy onto my Ads account, did my targeting thingy and set my budget at just $10 a day - remember, it was just a test. The ads ran for just three days, and within that period, I paused and refined the copy. The result is what you see in the picture in my portfolio. This whole story is just to drive home ONE important point: When you choose to work with me, you'll be working with a Copywriter who has REAL Copywriting experience - NOT one with "impressive" theories gotten from dusty marketing books. Now, hold up...hold up.... Ordinarily, my Upwork profile description should NOT be about me. It should be about YOU and the results you NEED - an important rule in sales Copywriting. Let's try this... You need a "high converting" sales copy (sales letter or email copy) that will help you sell tons and tons of your products or services, right?
