I currently work as a Library Assistant at North Greenville University. I am looking for freelance work to bring writing back into my life. I am involved with a remote writing group, Scribes Divided. We have published two anthologies so far--one of flash fiction and one of short stories. I contributed two pieces of writing to the first and one story to the second. I was also on the editing team for the second anthology. I ensured that my assigned stories followed the Chicago Manual of Style as well as our group's unique style guide. I worked as a proofreader for a local author. We collaborated on Google Docs, and I corrected style and grammar, as well as utilized the platform to make formatting suggestions and style corrections. During the summer and fall of 2016, I wrote copy for one of Enfabled's card games, Carry On. In this role, I was given a piece of character artwork, a character title (e.g. "The Pacifist"), and a minimal description of his or her personality. From there, I fleshed out a backstory, fitting it into the End of the World setting of the game. I loved being able to use my creativity to write narratives for the characters, each with their own unique voice, perspective, and history. My rates are negotiable.
