Some examples of recent projects I’ve delivered include; • 📸 A content moderation app for a small team within a global hospitality business enabling content publishers to review, moderate and publish new content across various channels. This included integration to a number of content sources and to a website content management system. • 🌏  A booking management app for a luxury vehicle hire company who needed to adapt their processes in response to the Health Emergency. They needed to take the process of managing bookings online, including vehicle checks and driver verification. This included a customer portal where drivers could upload documentation and an integration to Yoti; an online identity verification service. • 💥 A business-management app, enabling a small business working in events and exhibition who after having trialed more than six CRM apps were tired and fed-up of having to adjust their processes to fit the software they were using. We helped them build a simple, yet effective app which managed client contacts, client organisations, suppliers, purchase orders, venues and client projects. This included integrations with Xero and PandaDoc to streamline the process of creating proposals, invoices and contracts saving time and reducing errors. The main benefits of working with me are: • I will help choose an appropriate and efficient software stack. Where possible, consolidating the number of apps in use; reducing complexity and saving money. • I ensure the apps that are being used talk to each other. Reducing the time you spend copying and pasting, keeping your data up to date and where it needs to be, automatically. • I’ll help you save time and reduce human error by automating repetitive tasks or creating buttons so they can be triggered in just one click. • I’m also very familiar with common security and privacy best practice and concerns (E.G The GDPR, CCPA, ISO 27001); I’ll give due consideration to help ensure any data you’re working with remains safe and secure. I’m flexible and happy to work on new and existing systems. My process typically involves: • Understanding & learning: I’ll listen and learn about your organisation, what you’re doing already and what you want to achieve and improve. Having a clear understanding is key to delivering something that’s valuable and useful. • Proposal: I’ll clearly outline options on how we can move forward, if we’re working with tools I’m less familiar with or we’re doing anything particularly new I often like to do some testing at this point. I sometimes will also create a ‘proof of concept’ or a ‘mockup’ to show you what you’ll be getting and how it’ll work. I’ll outline costs and an estimate of time required and if you’re happy, we’ll proceed on to the next stage. • Build and/or Coaching: With your approval and any feedback from the previous stages, you’ll then have two options to build your app. I can either take care of the build for you, putting together documentation sharing progress as I go. Alternatively we can arrange remote sessions where we work together to build your app, especially useful if you want to retain complete control and complete understanding of your app and/or you want to learn new skills and techniques. With both options we’ll ensure documentation is created as we go so that any future changes, development and iterations can be made easily without the fear of breaking something. • Testing & Release - Once we’re ready, we’ll release your app ready for you to test. I’ll be on hand to listen to your feedback and make any required tweaks or support you in making them. • Learning & Iterating - As you and your team / clients use your app and as your organisation and the world evolves, I’d expect that your needs will evolve accordingly. I’ll be on hand to help you to continue to develop your app where required or in supporting you in doing so. I work with a small team in order to ensure that projects are consistently delivered on time and to the expected high standard, I’m also happy to work with clients in different time zones (I already support clients in North America).
