I am mechanical engineer by training with a focus on building custom automation equipment. I have a broad range of skills allowing me to design, assemble, program, and integrate machines from the ground up. I primarily focus on industrial automation equipment such as conveyors, robots and end effectors, pick and place, etc but am happy to look at anything you may need help with. With over 10 years of design and manufacturing experience, I can bring the right solution to you. I use Solidworks as my primary mechanical design tool and can produce complex machined parts, sheet metal components, weldments, formed plastic, and 3D printed parts. Once the CAD design is complete, I can bring the project to life by adding electrical and pneumatic components. These coupled with a PLC and HMI complete the project for a fully automated solution. I can also design mechanical tooling or partially automated equipment for a simpler or more cost-effective solution. I mainly spec Mitsubishi and Allen Bradley for the programmable logic controller and human machine interface.
