I will use my background in book marketing to conduct competitor research, draft a compelling book description, suggest metadata that will make your book discoverable, and craft an elevator pitch you can use to query agents and publishers. If you want to delve deeper into what makes a successful book marketing campaign so you can leverage that knowledge in your publisher negotiations, I can use my marketing manager expertise to help you refine your strategy and put together a tactical marketing plan to ensure your book’s success and longevity, whether you want to use it to sell other products off the back of it or you want to launch your career as a writer. I’m fully bilingual, with a native competency in Spanish, and I can translate your documents and other content. I can also transcribe and translate interviews, videos and audio, and can provide closed captions in English and Spanish. You can expect cultural accuracy from my translations and transcriptions, and I will prioritize faithful and accurate translations over speedy work. While completing my MA in Creative Writing and Publishing, I worked with a PhD candidate to transcribe and translate interviews conducted in Spanish for this candidate’s dissertation. The project spanned several months and the transcribed interviews were used for the candidate’s main data set. What You Can Expect While Working With Me: • EST hours: I am based near Baltimore, MD. I’m available for virtual meetings as needed after 4pm EST.
