Between her presentation and the amount of teachers who spoke on the issue, the school board decided to issue a grant to all Leon County schools for their arts classes. This grant funded materials for students and repairs for classroom materials, which allowed more students to have access to arts classes. Avonlea currently serves as an Office Manager to VIS Group, Inc. She began as an Administrative Assistant in February 2020, and within a year she grew herself into an Office Manager role. She supervises all Administrative and IT employees, including the Office Assistants (all under the age of 18), IT Technicians (one remote), and Administrative Assistants. She oversees all Administrative, IT, and HR tasks within the company.
