Hello! I’m Ashley Rossi, a multidisciplinary Product Designer with a focus on Information Architecture, UX/UI and Interaction Design for web and mobile apps. My blended creative and technical experiences provide me a holistic view of projects due to a working knowledge of many of the required tasks and processes in between, while serving as a helpful frame of reference for collaboration and communication within project teams. I began my design career in 1999 as a visual designer and front-end developer hybrid with a passion for pixels, color, layout and typography. For 12 years I worked this hybrid role in various settings - a fast-paced digital agency, as part of an in-house creative team, and a design and development team of one for an internet law firm. This experience and skillset naturally segued into a Senior UX Designer position 2102 with Hagerty Insurance, a role that stretched my thought process beyond pixels to a broader focus on the overall strategy and user journey of a digital product or brand. My 5 1/2 years at Hagerty taught me to design within a defined process and I came to understand how small, iterative changes can bring about real, measurable impact. I was introduced to user research and testing methods, heuristic evaluations, and designing for A B testing on more complex web applications than I'd been exposed to in the past. I also learned much about compromise made necessary by business goals, system constraints, and development resource limitations. In 2017 I took a leap of faith into full time freelance and quickly realized that I needed to reframe my expectations around process, documentation and decision making that were well formed during my corporate experience. The majority of my clients were looking to me to provide end-to-end design for high-fidelity web and mobile app prototypes to serve their unique needs - whether as a foolproof developer guide or proof of concept for generating investor interest - so I became designer, copywriter and project manager all rolled into one. Through these experiences I've refined my product design process to support efficient and successful project execution.Mobile UI Design

This includes: - Deep diving into the product ecosystem and drafting strategic plans. - Collaborating with design and engineering teams to create and refine prototypes. - Quality assurance and user testing to ensure product excellence. - Coordinating with marketing for impactful product launches. As a candidate, I see myself transitioning from an immersive internship to a visionary full-time role, contributing to products that resonate with the human spirit and foster a connected global community. 🌈 Being a Full-Stack Product Creative: With a strong foundation in design and coding, I bridge the gap between user experience and technical execution. My expertise ranges from design to product strategy, ensuring that all components of the product ecosystem work in harmony. The Swiss Army knife of design, from crafting creative solutions to managing their entire lifecycle. Aesthetics to functionality, I got you covered. I’ve conducted user research interviews with creators such as Mandy J Ross, Martin Solhaugen, David Wallimann, Kika Studio, Crafting Vegeto, and more. I want to make the product remarkably different and noticeable in the business, like a standout purple cow among ordinary ones. Innovation over the safe and ordinary.Mobile UI Design

I am a designer experienced in building websites for small and medium-sized businesses. With a PhD in sociology and a strong background in social and behavioral research at the post-graduate level, I bring empathy and an unwavering focus on user-experience to building fun, visually compelling websites that will make an impact. My workflow includes initial discovery call to understand business needs, sharing the site-map and information architecture with you, iterative design with revisions and product launch. My usual approach to web design involves designing on Figma and building on Framer, which I find to be the most roboust website builder. However I can adapt to client preferences if you want to use other web builders or already have a website you want to keep in the same place.Mobile UI Design
