Hello and welcome to my profile. My name is Farrah and I am equal parts administrative and creative. I specialize in the following fields: Writing & Editing Photography & Design Administrative Support I have substantial experience in all three fields, sometimes focusing in one area, but often mixing all three skills in one job. Below is a quick overview of my experience in each field. - Administrative Support - I have more than 12 years' experience in administrative support roles across most of the major industries in the Boston area: higher education, biotechnology, finance and non-profit. Typically I have supported anywhere from 1-5 supervisors at a time; often I also support the department-at-large. Several of my positions have been in the communications field and nearly all have included a strong writing or design element. My most recent administrative position was project coordinator in the communications department of a medium-sized biotech company, where my responsibilities included planning, budgeting, designing and photographing. - Photography & Design - My family owns a photography business in the Midwest. I worked with my parents from a young age: part-time growing up and then full-time as a photographer after college. To pay off my college debt more quickly, I simultaneously worked at the local photography center developing pictures in the lab and taking studio photos. During these years I learned Adobe Creative Suite extremely well and have used it in most of the roles I have had since. I also married a Spanish photographer several years ago and continue to act as a second retoucher for both him and my father (up until his retirement last year). - Copywriting and Editing - My first job in Boston was as a receptionist in a non-profit. When my supervisor discovered I could write and design, he assigned me overflow work from the communications department. Eventually I was promoted to manager of the communications department, where I wrote and designed most of the content and served as final editor on all our materials for print and web. I've worked in several writing-intensive communications roles since that time and most recently have been working as a freelance copywriter and editor here on Upwork.Model Photography

Born by the crystal-clear waters of San Juan, Puerto Rico, I discovered a passion for the arts early on, immersing myself in photography, writing, drawing, painting, and music. This creative foundation led me to earn a degree in Music Performance from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and a Master’s Degree in Advertising from Sacred Heart University. Photography is where my creativity meets professionalism. Through my lens, I explore the art of storytelling, capturing the beauty and emotion of each moment. From intimate portraits and boudoir sessions to joyful engagements, pregnancy shoots, dynamic events, and product photography, I bring an artistic touch and a commitment to excellence to every project. Whether it’s preserving cherished memories or showcasing your brand, my goal is to deliver images that inspire and resonate. Let’s create something extraordinary together!Model Photography
