Apply asset tags and record hardware info in designated documents. • At the direction of upper management, create and implement solutions to persistent issues with or without the help of 3rd party vendors. • Educate end users on important security topics including but not limited to password, phishing, and social engineering awareness. • Work with other departments (Facilities/maintenance, Surveillance, Income Control, Title 31) to facilitate work and find solutions to company wide issues • Respond to critical events, such as a "floor down", and work as a team to find a solution as quickly as possible. Work under pressure to complete the work and report directly to casino management/ Directors for progress reports. Personal responsibilities: • Administer and deploy antivirus on per workstation/ per server basis to ensure proper coverage and integration to property wide security fabric. • Monitor and act on potentially anomalous activity on end user work stations and VMs at the discretion of IT Director, utilizing DarkTrace, Symantec Endpoint, Sentinel One/Huntress, and Fortianalyzer. • Monitor network traffic for potential anomalies and report to management. • Monitor news sources for potential threats and zero days that may need expedited patching/priority fixes. • Oversaw antivirus overhaul project, including but not limited to creating an antivirus inventory across all servers and workstations, and then working to make sure each device had the proper type of antivirus solution. • Created curriculum for HR on-boarding class involving best practices for corporate IT security specifically for end users. • Oversaw Proofpoint Protection Server stand up and administration.
