I have four years of professional writing under my belt, as well as over a decade of personal and academic projects in my portfolio. While my primary background is comprised of novels, academic essays, and research papers, my current specializations include: -Personal finance and investing -Stock market analyses -Digital marketing content -Outline generation -Implementing general and client-specific SEO best practices Fun facts about me: -I have synesthesia, which crosses my sensory wires and makes the world a more connected, interesting place. -I have battled with - and overcome! - multiple anxiety disorders since I was a teenager. Learning to manage my mental health has made me stronger, more capable, and more empathetic. (Plus, it's a built-in excuse to not have to people. Win-win!) -Oxford commas are a necessity, not an option. This has been a PSA. :)Non-Fiction Writing

I have always had a love for words and am wanting to build up more experience and improvement of skills. I grew up proofreading for my grandma who wrote about the farm all her life. I currently work in commercial insurance and write memos, letters and e-mails every day. I have several different customer service experiences that have shaped me in to who I am today and love to learn new ways to see the world. I believe that words are the one universal medium for so many people and should be used for enjoyment, but also to continue to challenge the normal way of thinking.Non-Fiction Writing

I'm a published author with one novel and several short stories under my belt. I've also written dozens of articles on a multitude of subjects on my blog, as well as fictional encyclopedic works revolving around some of my fictional world creations. I've edited and proofread the work of colleagues and peers, helping them to sharpen their own vision for their work and encouraging them through their own writing process. I am very familiar with Microsoft Word and Track Changes and can easily accommodate anyone using those tools. That being said, I'm also very open to learning and using different tools. I am seeking employers looking for a talented, enthusiastic writer, and editor who is equally at home with non-fiction content, as with strong, character driven fictional narrative.Non-Fiction Writing

I don’t just write content, I write content that’s compact and readworthy. Writing great conversational content that doesn’t take up too much space is a skill sadly lacking in today’s cut-&-paste market. While it’s true that attention spans are getting shorter and tight writing is crucial for controling costs and maintaining readership, the content itself must be readworthy. Terrible content, no matter how primly it’s packaged, is still terrible content, and that is where you lose readers.Non-Fiction Writing

I have been writing books as long as I've been reading them. Writing comes as naturally to me as breathing, and I like to be challenged... but what sets me apart from other writers? Here are a few things you should know about me: 1. I am intuitive. I quickly understand the point behind the words that others struggle to find and enable them to articulate it. 2. I have endured a number of hard life experiences such as divorce, miscarriage, losing a loved one, etc, yet pursue happiness defiantly. Thus, I am able to bring more insight into the triumphs and struggles of my written characters. 3. I am honest, communicative, friendly and trustworthy. 4. Writers tend to be flaky and disorganized- I am neither. I have over 20 years of experience in customer service and administrative assistant roles. 5. I specialize in connecting loose ends and making corny/cliche storylines more relatable. 6. I am skilled at writing both concise pieces, like poetry and songwriting, and longer works. 7. I don't need to be micromanaged yet am not defensive of my writing styles and practices. I can take criticism and suggestions but don't require them. 8. I believe that every person on earth has a uniqueness that deserves to be discovered and then shared. For nonfiction, I will find the story in anyone's life and work hard to be sure it is told in a voice as authentically-theirs as possible. For fiction, I can immerse myself into a character until their story practically speaks. Let's see what we can write together!Non-Fiction Writing

I am an accomplished writer. I have successfully ghost written several researched based, non-fiction and fiction books for several publishing houses, as well as private clients for almost five years. I have written a lot of fiction as well, including sweet romance - historical wester, cozy mystery, dark romance, contemporary romance (sweet and steamy), and paranormal romance. I have written at least a hundred different paranormal romance novels – many of which are part of a series that I have written. I have experience working with people who are going through the FPA. Writing is magic. Words can take you anywhere and let you be anyone. You can accomplish the most extraordinary feats and have exciting adventures. Writing is my passion. I started reading when I was three and started writing cutesy little stories when I was seven. I was first published in a newspaper when I was ten. I wrote for all my school papers and magazines. I have been a ghost writer for the last five years and I have been writing full time for the past two years. In December 2013, I completed my project study, Serving Wounded Warriors in the Classroom: Instructional Techniques for Students with Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and earned my doctorate in Higher Education and Adult Learning. I maintained a 4.0 GPA, and I am a member of the Golden Key National Honour Society. My book, Instructional Techniques for PTSD and TBI, was published by Scholar's Press. On May 19, 2007, I graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Pittsburg State University with a Master of Science degree. My emphasis is secondary education. My thesis was on differentiated instruction in the classroom. My undergraduate degrees were earned from Baker University. I graduated, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication and a minor in Political Science. I earned both degrees in four years.Non-Fiction Writing
